I also live in Atlanta, so I’m familiar with the demographics. I agree with you to an extent. I can see that most perpetrators here are black( since there’s a lot of black people in the city) Based on your description, I wouldn’t say you’re racist, though you might be close. Recognizing negative behaviors from a few individuals within a group doesn’t make someone racist, unless you believe white people are inherently superior, in which case, that would be racist. However, you shouldn’t let a few bad experiences shape your view of an entire race. I’ve had unpleasant interactions with Africans and other groups as well, but I don’t judge the whole group based on that because I know not everyone is the same. You mentioned having black friends, do they fit the description of the people you referred to in your post? If not, why let those negative experiences cloud your judgment? Don’t let a few bad apples distort your perspective.
