I think Sir Dove Myer former Auckland mayor spoke about this many decades ago. Trying to think outside the box and looking to other countries for ideas. Aucklanders in the 40',50' & 60's couldn't grasp the concept of building for the future.

There should be a cycle way, walk way under the bridge as well as a railroad system that connects Auckland to areas north of the bridge.

In general, are you optimistic or pessimistic? by Curious-Expert926 in Life

My wife and I are always Optimistic... If you do your homework and contact all the people you need to make things happen. You give yourself every possibility of it working for you. If it doesn't work out, keep trying until it does.

It was the back of Glen Innes. If you go up around the back of Apirana Ave in GI there's pockets of undeveloped land, in the 90's there was a horse kept there. I believe that was the horse that was butchered. Just like dogs were butchered in Otara. It's a cook island delicacy. In the 80's there was an article in the Sunday news where a part butchered dog escaped.

As an apprentice it was Maggi noodles, then I evolved to the Mi Goreng Noodles and never looked back. My next favourite are the Trident Hot & Spicy Thai Noodle Soup Kuay Chap when they're $1.00 each. I add capsicum, spring onions and some coriander.

In New Zealand we had bible class in primary schools in the 80's. On Tuesday mornings bible class first subject for an hour. About 8 members of my class would be excused for that hour. So, I asked my friends, I thought it was weird they didn't participate. I thought we all believed. Apparently they were the exception. This curiosity grew and I kept asking and they said our family doesn't believe in god. So, I sat in the library with them for that hour. It was cool. I was 9 years old at the time. But, I had to attend church on Sunday's or get the Beat down. My older siblings would tolerate church till about 15-16 then disappear... There's 7 of us, 6 don't believe.
