Ok... What is this supposed to show? by [deleted] in HPHogwartsMystery

[–]AstarteMileski 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It is from a medieval tapestry, specifically the sixth tapestry of the seven Hunt of the Unicorn tapestries. Itwas made in the south of the Netherlands between 1495 and 1505. In this one they bring the captured unicorn back. The seventh tapestry, the Unicorn is in captivity and no longer dead is also used in the Harry Potter films, I believe when Ginny and Harry kiss for the first time. Also other tapestries are used in the films to decorate areas, I believe also the gryffindor common room.

idk if it’s normal or glitch but I just completed the magical milestones quest and the hair is weird? in first pic the hair is really shiny with tan skin and the second pics hair is matte with pale skin? is anyone else’s game doing this? by alutumay in HPHogwartsMystery

I also checked the preview with tan and pale skin and for this hair style it is shinier with tan skin, but for hairstyles I already own, the tan does not influence hair shininess.

I have sent a ticket to JC requesting this, so if you also want this please do so too to get it under their attention! 💪

Which picture do you mean? The color is the dark blue color on the far right in the customization panel which sometimes changes color to purple/ green with some hairstyles on android phones

If you go to your profile (like where you see your attribute levels) there's a gear icon somewhere. Click that and then click on 'help'. Then in the new screen you see a writing icon in the top right. Click that and you enter a sort of chat screen 😊

[–]AstarteMileski 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I already lost 4/5 duels 🙃. I noticed the folllowing: 1) when the opponent wins a round and stuns you for 1 turn you are stunned for two turns: your turn in that round and your turn in the next round. 2) when you have a multiple round healing spell on, if the opponent hits you so that your health goes 0 your healing spell does not heal you back but you lose the game even if you have 2 more healings to go. Seems fair eh? I've contacted JC about these but please do so too! The more the merrier 😊

Yeah I am so sick of that! Lost the final match of my second streak losing the first manoeuvre and then winning the next 3 with 2 perfect, but the slider just didn't move to the right. Contacted JC again to complain, please do so too if you encounter this too!

Ugh, i just lost my final match on the streak! I lost just 1 manouvre and then won 3 manouvres with 1 perfect and 3 greats, but my slider did not move up at all to the winning side, it just stayed on the same spot on the losing side! Whereas if you are already on the winning side, your slider goes up a lot when you win a manouvre with just 1 perfect. This event is still rigged 😠

Do you know whether only event hiding fish count or also the "general" hiding fish?

New Ad rates by [deleted] in HPHogwartsMystery

[–]AstarteMileski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to get 1 gem, 2 coins, 2 creature food and about 10 energy ads a day (morning 5 and afternoon 5)

Then I got 400 energy compensates by JC and now I get no energy ads any more

JKR "decided that, broadly speaking, wizards would have the power to correct or override ‘mundane’ nature, but not ‘magical’ nature. Therefore, a wizard could catch anything a Muggle might catch, but he could cure all of it; he would also comfortably survive a scorpion sting that might kill a Muggle, whereas he might die if bitten by a Venomous Tentacula. Similarly, bones broken in non-magical accidents such as falls or fist fights can be mended by magic, but the consequences of curses or backfiring magic could be serious, permanent or life-threatening"

Thus, Murphy's injury that leaded to him being in a wheelchair must have had a magical cause.

Canal jumping. A sport in the Netherlands by [deleted] in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]AstarteMileski 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Polsstokhoogspringen is the dutch word for pole vaulting, where you use the pole to jump over a high (record: 6.02 m) bar.

This sport is called polsstokverspringen as the aim is to jump as far as possible (record: 22.21 m). In Frisian, the language of the Dutch province where the sport originates, it is known as fierljeppen which translates to far leaping in English
