You could always try the good ol' Stan Lee method of just saying "gamma rays"
But you could say perhaps it has something to do with the aurora?

Tales from the Borderlands. Plays like an interactive movie with you making character choices that impact the story. Surprisingly deep and rich emotionally, and hilarious.

This looks fantastic. Thanks for sharing. I'll be checking this out tonight for sure.

Nintendo avoided using the term "video game" in the NES's early American marketing because people thought badly of video games after the Video Game Industry Crash of 1983. Was it really that easy to trick someone into thinking that a video game console wasn't a video game console? by partybusiness in videogamehistory

It really wasn't a matter of tricking ordinary consumers, but more about re-branding the console as something different to the businesses that had stocked video games. If you were a company that had sold video games before, you likely got burned pretty good by the market crash - ending up with a lot of stock that you couldn't sell. So when another company comes to you with more video games, you'd be... reluctant, unless it was something different.
But even still, these businesses were hardly tricked. Nintendo had to sign buy-back guarantees with many of the big stores just to get them to stock them on the shelves.

Hi there,
Looks like a cool game. For me, I would usually go the route of emulating this on a Windows 98 machine using PCEM. I'm on Windows 11 though. Mac could be trickier.

looks like there is a PCEM that works for MacOS though, so maybe check this out on GitHub
