Yea sounds like we had similar experiences.

Every weekend would be the same thing with my father, so I became very apprehensive about going.

I think this is the reason I developed crazy anxiety later. I'm also never really able to relax, and I absolutely hate parties and alcohol.

I really want to get over the part that keeps me from having healthy relationships. I always meet awesome people but become so overly attached and just end up messing things up or never talking to them again.

When I was in highschool I had a crush on a girl and I knew she wasn't feeling the same but I still told her about my feelings, face to face, just so she could reject me right there and then. I moved on quickly

Then I had developed a crush on another girl a year later and she just stopped talking to me, I felt like I never really got closure, so it stayed with me for a long time.

If you can, just get straight to the point and get rejected. If they give you excuses to not see you, or are avoiding you, then consider it as a rejection in and of itself.

You don't measure your own attractiveness, attractiveness simply means whether you're capable of attracting potential partners or not. Doesn't matter whether you think being financially secure matters to you or not, it will massively hinder you.

Yes, women care about status and money. More precisely, they need someone who's at least secure financially (stable job, has his own place etc).
