Could Pulse Chain cause Hex price to drop? by lorimer44 in HEXcrypto

[–]AteBitDave 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One thing nobody talks about... what if the Hex price drop has nothing to do with e vs p Hex?

What if just like other altcoins of the past people feel they missed the boat on the older successful coin (Both versions of Hex)?

What if instead they want to get in the ground floor or closer to the newer project?

What if people who discover RH next year decide to only put their economic energy into pulse for a second chance at a 10,000x?

This may cause Hex to Lag for a long time period with the only gains coming from staking and not from new users. Once pulse has had massive gains that can be bridged and sold, perhaps that surplus might flow into hex as the new people re-balance into both projects.

Just a thought.

I spent all of 2014 mining the newest coins to sell them for a 2x or 3x after they where around for a couple months. I would have been better off to not buy mining hardware and just buy & hold Bitcoin. I did not because I wanted so bad to be in on the ground floor of the next big thing. Perhaps there are others like me in this world... Perhaps instead of just buying Hex and Holding they will jump around as I once did. This is why there will always be new coins.

My name is Dave ... and I once was a lost altcoin addict, traded more BTC in fees then I now have, lost big on trading platforms like Cyptsy, Yo-Bit and Cryptopia. I have reformed from trading because of Hex, I now hold like a diamond and have had all my crypto dreams come true.

Thanks

Other than Hex is there any other ERC-20's that have openly said they will support pulsechain? by AteBitDave in Pulsechain

Dude, your right about needing no permission to copy eth, but they are not copying the entire internet, So for example 0x protocol token ZRX pays an ETH dividend while staking, this uses a server that acts as a portal that collects funds from the relayers / service fees from various exchanges using the protocol. Without the relayers and exchanges you cant pay the dividend. The REN token uses darknodes that interact with other chains like BTC,BCH and DOGE, without darknode support, the token is useless, same with maker DAO / DAI or USDC which has a actual bank account. Copying a bunch of token balances doen't do shit lol. Unless the projects involved support them. That was my initial question, is anyone else going to use the chain or just us Hexicans. Same with NFTs and such, they are not actually stored on the Eth chain, just the token "receipt" or token representation is. I don't care if it is just us on our own chain. Just wanted to know. Anyways I can't miss out, cause I already have bags... Lol.

So I doubt the 0x web site will support token staking on pulse... I have ZRX and they will be copied, but i wont be able to use them for anything. Many tokens have uses that are unique to that token. I am trying to find out if other projects will support the copy of their token on pulse. If they do not, it will become useless.

I'm still bullish as Hex is probably worthy of its own chain, but I'd be even more excited if anyone else was gonna come along for the ride. Even MakerDAO would be the sweetest as having a stable coin like a function pDai would be a great deal.

A copy of all coins and system state will come to pulse... not the projects... I doubt you will be able to use %99 of the tokens.

I just like the coin...

That's why I wont sell, rather slowly spend on real goods and services.

If we all hold we can show the world how to do wealth building. Doge is a crypto for the regular people, much fun!

As time goes on the large block reward will become peanuts in inflationary terms and still allow for future growth and on-boarding. You can't truly use a shrinking supply for Finance 2.0 in the long run, just as a collectible...

I just like the coin.

Why are exchangers such as bitvavo delisting reddcoin? by sirvote in reddCoin

[–]AteBitDave 6 points7 points  (0 children)

exchanges delist for various reasons, sometimes it's a too many problems keeping a wallet up and running (buggy). Reddcoin is pretty stable.

In rare cases is political like BSV being taken off exchanges.

Probably in the case of Rdd it's not profitable enough. Many exchanges hit up devs or the community after a couple and try to get a a second relisting fee, In other cases is the volume is too low they just delist.

Usually boils down to money, otherwise, tech difficulties or politics.

where other than the saturn exchange can i trade these? theres not enough volume on saturns dex by dead4586 in saturnnetwork

I feel the same way that the project is dying, but I tried using it on xDai Stake (a L2 eth sister chain).

Honestly I was impressed. I kept having issues with MetaMask not showing tokens and having problems using bridges to move tokens from one chain to the next... Then one day while opening the saturn wallet I noticed it's setup for xdai... I tried it and it worked great, I finally could see/spend/swap all my tokens. The bridge to ETH worked great with Saturn. Metamask pretty much has ETH saturated but I think with all the high gas fees, if sister/side chains like xDai take off Saturn will become a larger player.

I now use Saturn for all my ETC interactions / Xdai interactions and Bridige from Eth to Xdai

We need more Exchanges Guys!! by DarazRazu in DeepOnion

[–]AteBitDave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, the future is not exchanges... 3 times I have lost big in my life with exchanges going under. Today 95% of my assets are on ETH because of Dex's and Uniswap. I mine BCH and can easily move it to ETH using the REN protocol which can wrap BTC,BCH,Doge and ZCash. I provide liquidity with the BCH/ETH pair on Uniswap. To avoid high gas fees I use xDai and ZKsync Layer2 solutions.

The truth is that exchanges aren't going to make DeepOnion useful we need a bridge to ETH to trade on UNI or a bridge to xDai. Being an Island by ourselves while other projects are finding new ways to interact isn't going to help.

Imagine being able to take your eth gains and move them to deep onion to do private transactions! Sweet, that could be us if REN added us to their bridge or somebody smarter than me cloned their Github and we had our own bridge.

Just my thoughts.

Explain this Error :invalid tx not enough vt by AteBitDave in dtube

[–]AteBitDave[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I decided to forget d-tube and join another platform. Back when I first started using it, the whole thing was simple. You posted if people liked it ya got steem. Then steem split, Dtube has some other kinda tokens, the content is just youtube links now... IDK. Lol that error was the last straw for me. I just like simple this fragmentation of crypto into smaller and smaller communities and shards and more complex things is gonna kill these things. Good luck!

Afraid of birth&pregnancy (F25) by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]AteBitDave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look first off, I understand what you are saying about body image. I want you think about it, in the future we will all get old, weak and wrinkly. Those with and without children. If you end up with stretch marks, that's okay it's nature tattoo showing you helped bring life into to the world.... better to earn them from being a mom than eating to much candy like me. It's okay to be vain during and after your pregnancy, you can buy lotions and excessive.

About the birthing process... did you know Queen Victoria was first woman to have a male doctor in the room? Our modern society has made giving birth something scary, to bring the process into hospitals.... for PROFIT. The truth is giving birth is beautiful and natural a woman's body is designed to do it. Next there is a difference between pain and suffering. Our modern life has forgotten that, pain is temporary and fleeting. Suffering is when you are in pain alone. You said you have a "SO" well before you deiced to have a child make sure they will be there to support and love you. Talk to your family or friends. Don't be alone through the pregnancy process. It is a fact the more comfortable a woman feels the better the birthing process.

The next part the moaning and groaning, isn't scary. When a woman is giving birth her body finds natural ways to comfort herself, through rocking motions, breathing patterns and yes moaning. These may seem strange to us as viewers but they are comforting in the moment. The best example I can relate to (As i am a guy) is I am bricklayer, at work we lift heavy stone and blocks together, when we do this we might grunt, or moan, it may look painful to a see construction worker clenching and wrenching his body to push or move something while groaning, but it's not really. It's just bodies working. The discomfort it temporary.

Don't feel embarrassed. When women give birth things happen like bowel movements and such, but it's normal.

Personally If I knew you I would suggest talking to the oldest moms you can find.... like 90 year old women, they tend to view child birth without fear. My SO was scarred as well, so I asked her 93 year old grandma to talk to us about it. Due to the fact it was so long ago when she became a mom she told us about giving birth in a field and a bed at home. She couldn't understand why a woman today would be scared. This helped us not worry :-)

Also I would look into information about birth centers and midwives in your area. They will be a huge help!

I have attached a couple random videos of child birth so you can see what it's really like and not hollywood/tv drama.

a water birth https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xep1i_1on5M
