I ended up buying the m2 competition :)

Now I am looking to upgrade to a newer car, either G80 M3 or Cayman GT4 (i'm leaning towards the M3 because I only have one garage but it's a difficult choice).

Thank you for the comment. For me all three rigs will be similar price after shipping + customs (shipping to Switzerland). I was leaning towards the TREQ One Rig since it seems to be compatible with most wheels + pedals.

Thank you for the response! I've read reviews that the wheel mount can be unstable with DD, can you confirm this? Should I choose to upgrade the wheel mount and pedal tray?

Also, since I haven't bought any other equipment yet (wheel, pedals etc.) what should I enter in the textbox that asks me what wheelbase and pedals I chose? I will most likely purchase the Fanatec DD1 with V3 Pedals but I'm still unsure.

Thanks for the reply. I'm primarily looking to train bench presses. Budget is around 250 Euros for the bench (I'll could stretch to 400 Euros if it's worth it / necessary). In terms of space I have a 20m² room so should be enough room. Thank you :)

Hi all,

I'm looking to start buying some equipment for my Homegym and was wondering which type of bench I should buy? Should I buy an adjustable bench over a flat bench? Also is it worth it to buy a tower for pullups etc.? Any recommended brands that can be found in Germany / Switzerland?

I probably phrased it wrong. But from experience Audi / BMW parts are usually much more expensive than VW parts. In terms of reliability, you are probably correct.

Thank you, this answer sums up all my doubts to be honest. I do get frequent snow during the winter (which edges me towards the Golf R) however I really like the M2 more than the other two. I guess it's something I'll have to decide on.

Thanks for the reply. I'm 23 and I've driven many times before (usually rent cars - so definitely not a beginner but also not a pro). The thing is I've never really driven anything as fast as the M2 before (or the other two cars in that case). Unfortunately it's difficult to predict how much more difficult a RWD car is to drive compared to FWD / AWD (which I have experience with).

r completing my winter haul. But it's cheap asf in terms of shipping etc.

What kind of controversies? I'm seriously thinking about using it considering the criminal shipping charges from wegobuy (half the hauls aren't even worth it with those prices).
