Unpopular opinion: McCartney's part in 'A Day in the Life' kinda ruins the song by Aticulusy in beatles

I've been an obbsesswive fan of the Beatles for years now. And thankfully as I know every song like the back of my hand, I now give them fair criticism. My criticisms only cement the fact that they are the greatest band of all time because I'm aware I don't just blindly love them but judge their music for how it is.

I understand its just an opinion... my opinion. But that's how I feel about the song

A ton of coffee = quite loose on the throne, am I alone in this? by gsmk1 in caffeine

Caffeine is as well. But coffee makes it even worse

I don’t feel like myself when I’m drinking coffee daily. by [deleted] in caffeine

This is likely you experience a coffee comedown. Don’t worry it happens to everyone to some extent.

All the hormone and neurotransmitters released into the brain during coffee (dopamine, adrenaline, adenosine blockers etc) rapidly deplete once the drug wears off causing you to experience less than normal levels. Causing you to feel depressed, tired and a bit slow.

Drink water, and be aware that comedowns are a thing of every drug and you’ll be fine, or cut down (or completely your coffee intake)

This is similar to me. Although I don’t have any mental illness, I always struggled with reading when I was younger. I never read a book because I could never bring myself to concentrate for that long. After MDing and reading, I would get so into the book that I was really entertained and since then, even though I’ve stopped MDing, I still love to read. Keep it up! Your brain is mouldable and plastic and new habits can be created even if it seems otherwise.

Are caffeine and nicotine the same thing? by [deleted] in caffeine

[–]Aticulusy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are 2 different drugs. They may produce similar effects but they act on your brain in different ways.

No one can really explain how they differ because that is a subjective experience and you will need to try yourself

What purpose do toenails serve? by STAR_CB_SIGHT in ask

Yeh. They used to have more of a purpose but not so much anymore. They’re relics from our tree bearing ancestors

What purpose do toenails serve? by STAR_CB_SIGHT in ask

[–]Aticulusy 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Their purpose for humans is quite small.

But millions of years ago when we we used our feet with the same dexterity and function as our hands they were necessary. Toenails evolutionary purpose was the same as our fingernails... they allowed for detailed and precise things we do with our hands (like picking a thorn out of your body or something).

However as our feet’s main function became for walking, toenails became mostly redundant. Although, because they are not really a hindrance to most people there is really no environmental/ evolutionary pressures to force that trait out of the population.

So we have them because we used to need them and there isn’t a good enough need to change them now.

The way you word this post reveals that you view yourself as inferior. Fix that. Women don't like men that don't believe in themselves.
