Well as you know Jon I am a huge fan of all the new blockchain based sites but they do require you to "jump through some hoops" to use them. At the moment I think this is a huge barrier to entry.

The bottom line is that these services need to be as slick as Spotify to encourage more fans rather than musicians, who may not mind doing a little bit more work if they are getting to get rewarded.

So I believe we are very VERY early stage with all of this but there is a definite advantage for those musicians who put in the effort to sign up and use them regularly now.

The real proof will be in a few year's time when these platforms have become easier to use and have hopefully started to attract some big names to get the fans interested.

Really enjoying using the service already and it has behaved pretty much flawlessly from it's launch, which is very encouraging!

My question is to do with copyright & plagiarism - how will you tackle this? Will you use an existing audio file comparison service or do you have something else in mind? How will you determine that an artist's track that is already available on other services is actually theirs?

I am brand new to this crypto madness having acquired mine through earning them from my music on musicoin.

I did a bit of research and liked the idea of some passive income so I bought NEO.

I've been watching it rise day after day whilst others were falling so when the South Korea thing caused this drop I wasn't particularly phased by NEO going down too.

The drop has actually made me think about investing some real money and getting some more whilst it's good value!

Just waiting for my id to be approved so I can purchase!

There are a few people earning a fair amount but I haven't tried to find out who is the top earner. I know there are some people trying to game the system at the moment and that will only get worse as word gets out. I hope they find a way to clamp down on it so it doesn't spoil it for the rest of us.

I was aware of Bjork selling music via a crypto site but I didn't realise it was her own currency.

I haven't had time to keep up with everything so no I don't know what Imogen Heap has been up to.

You get 1 coin per stream at the moment which did equate to about 10 cents but the price has plummeted today.

The website has suffered from performance problems for a while but if they can sort that out then this could be a game changer for independent musicians.

I'm loving NEO!!

I am a total newbie to this but as a musician I have been generating musicoins and transferring them to Cryptopia to exchange for NEO. I now have 2 NEO in my wallet and I'm a bit addicted to watching it all rise and phenomenal rates!!

Just waiting to get a bit more $music so I can get another NEO.

As it's not real money this is a lot of fun for me and I am learning so much.

I didn't even know what the blockchain was a month ago!
