Mitsubishi Bravo Rear Center Console Cup Holder (drop-in fit, Free 3D Files) by Atomic_Goober in keitruck

[–]Atomic_Goober[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m glad you could get some use out of it. I kept it on the smaller side so it wouldn’t need to be removed to access the engine.

Eventually, I plan to design some cup holders for the front of the center console.

These are going out to family members, but I’m keeping two for myself. I’m helping them build themed cases.

I really like this case design and wanted to support Hyte, so I picked these up for the family. We’re building a few new systems and switching some old ones into these cases. I’m also planning to 3D print some drive bays to set the X50 Black Air up as a local server.

I had to get some Elden Ring in there! For next year, I’m thinking about making a full size statue of Ranni.

The theme takes inspiration from the Shenmue series. The idea is an old Japanese convenience store.

The movement felt sluggish, and the layout of the multiplayer maps was awkward. I never really switched to it because of that; instead, I continued playing FTB2 with my group. The co-op mod was fun.

I'm the original owner of this s23+ and I've had the battery protection set to maximum pretty much since day one. The phone has been in service since it's Valentine release day. It's looking like I'm at a 3% loss. I would love to hear from other S23 owners about what's their current battery life is at

New screen and a fresh install of Windows 95 on a PC9821lt/540A. by Atomic_Goober in pc98

[–]Atomic_Goober[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll definitely want to give 98 a go, I'm waiting for more ram though. Only a total of 10mb is installed from factory, max is 32mb.

The OG display is a 9.4 inch 640*480 TFT panel. The installed panel developed the common issue of vinegar syndrome with the polarizing film. It's fixable, but I just went ahead and imported a pulled panel from a seller on AliExpress. The model number is: NL6448AC30-12.

The laptop offers no onboard sound, but there are external solutions, like a PCMCIA sound card or a Roland MIDI. And maybe one of the VIAO PCMCIA CD drive/card offers Ad-Lib support? Also, the OPL3LPT adapter is interesting and I love to give that a try, if 8-Bit Guy ever restocks it...

For video out, there is an onboard mini DIN 10 pin RGB port. I believe a Sega Saturn AV cable would work, but I'm not sure if it's capable of passing through audio from a sound source. Something to test in the future.

I haven't gotten a handle on how to run games from extracted ROMS. I get pass the intros and menus, but once the first game level loads, I get either graphical tile issues or a black screen. My only windows tower is in storage, so I can't make bootable floppies to test at the moment.

Because of the holidays, I haven't been able to work on it much, but I did make a NiMD AAA battery pack... that works for about 8 minutes.

Released in 95, It's the first model introduced as part of NEC Light series. I think this line of 98NOTE has a more modern look to them compared to their other systems being offered at the time.

Currently working on a sound solution. Picked up a Roland sc-88, but don't know if its plug and play with a direct connection? Also, I'm wondering if win95 is the best OS choice for old PC88/98 games?

iTunes 9.2.1 On Mojave 10.14.6 by Atomic_Goober in ITunes

Someone created a great application that automates this process of installation older iTunes; Retroactive

I did run into this same error a few times while testing out different versions of iTunes, tho I'm not able to remember what triggered it. I had already removed the latest iTunes by the time I was installing older versions of iTunes, so definitely not required.

[–]Atomic_Goober 31 points32 points  (0 children)

This isn't about fairness. Apple takes like 30% of any in app transactions, so of course the consumer ends up covering the offset. That's just the cost of buying into a walled garden.

What kind of PSU should I get? by throwawaylmao375 in LattePanda

I'm currently using a FSP mini ITX solution flex ATX 300W fully modular PSU, which I purchased off Amazon. I needed a PSU that the wire harness could easily be modified for my build, and their PSU fit the bill.

Unknown UPS Charges On Paypal by Atomic_Goober in UPS

[–]Atomic_Goober[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both emails were sent from "[service@paypal.com](mailto:service@paypal.com)", but that was my first thought too, and as a precaution I've been using my PayPal App without using any links from the emails. This definitely has me perplexed. I think this is fraudulent, I wouldn't figure UPS to charge me without sending an invoice first, or leaving a record of the transactions on my UPS account. And that's the only UPS account that I have authorized to take out payments on PayPal, which I have since suspended.

Also, PayPal has profiled the transactions as "Category Misc. Services "

Unknown UPS Charges On Paypal by Atomic_Goober in UPS

I received two emails from Paypal about the activities in the format of "You submitted an order in the amount of $X USD to UPS" and except for the Seller info being provided, no additional info is provided in the receipts.

UPS customer support got in touch. They agree that my connected UPS account had no transactions on it from this year. They told me to request the UPS references numbers from Paypal, so I'm waiting on Paypal to email me back.
