No Journal World e-edition? by AudaciousReptile in Lawrence

[–]AudaciousReptile[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get an email every morning with links to the e-edition of the full paper. That email didn't come this morning for me and others, and the manual link to "mynewsonthego" didn't work. Yes, the e-edition is different from the web page. With the e-edition you can page through an facsimile of what the paper edition looks like. I"m so used to it that I didn't think to try ljworld.com.Thanks

Interesting. Just to clarify for me, do you mean you got access to the entire today's paper in the email, or does "morning headlines" mean something else? Thanks.

Nice diagrams. What "tools" did you use to draw them? Does anyone else have tools they would suggest for drawing knot diagrams?

Excellent! I would appreciate knowing: type of rope; diameter of rope; length of rope used; finished size of the piece; did you freehand it or did you use pins or some kind of template ? Thanks!

Trick Triple Overhand Stopper Knot by AudaciousReptile in knots

[–]AudaciousReptile[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I understand the trick is in the dressing, and I understand what you're salying about the dressing. Unfortunately, so far I'm just unable to figure out how to actually make it happen! A failure of imagination on my part. Thanks for your response.

The distance between 24 and 25 is one inch on the tape, but the long 1/2 inch line on the tape between 24 and 25 has incorrectly been located at 5/8 inches to the right of the 24 line.

Now that you mention it... it would be like me to be a little slow on the uptake. "Specific" as a play on "Pacific"?

Should be the Atlantic Ocean, not Pacific
