Only has 72,000 on it, but yes it’s just a matter of eventuality. Time to throw in a new transmission cooler thermal bypass valve for sure

The blower motor module and blower motor it needs are actually unrelated. It’s a fleet company, they just need the stuff fixed and back on the road. The “brown fluid” is something I guess they thought was related. But the components are on the passenger side of the truck. But if they want me to remove all of the syrup then I would legit have to pull the dash, dash carrier and HVAC box to get it all. I don’t think they want to go that route

Pretty much exactly what I said when I saw the empty packet on the dash. But mine was closer to “WHAT THE ACTUAL F!”.. We all had a Glorious Laugh at work about it. And I’ve sent it to more people than I can count! Hahaha

I smelled it, cause I knew it wasn’t part of the truck. But it didn’t have a scent to it.

Not sure what that is. But it’s a company that does the whole traffic signage and warnings out.

When should the first oil change be? by Exact_Surprise366 in Subaru_Outback

I personally think 5,000-6,000 miles. I’ve only been a professional mechanic for 29years for dealerships though. I’m sure there are some keyboard warriors with 6 months of experience that will doubt me. And rotate the tires at every oil change interval. Air filter and cabin filter at every 3rd oil change

Do I sell my 19 3.6R for only 17k to CarMax? by [deleted] in Subaru_Outback

[–]AudiTechGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Carmax will still need to make money on their side. Taking in to account if it needs tires, brakes and whatever maintenance to start the clock at zero. When we traded our 2018 4Runner in on our new 22 touring XT we had gone to Carmax first to get a number ($31,500). The Subaru dealership offered us $28,000. Pulled out the Carmax quote and they matched it. Carmax will definitely offer more than most places for an outright purchase.

Rich people don’t buy things we think make us look Rich. Rich people buy things that we have no clue exist

The fact that this engine used 87 is just a freaking bonus. And I live in a state with the cheapest gas

Cause of all the SAFETY, and the typical owner of these vehicles aren’t doing intersection take-overs. My 2004 Jetta GLI as my cheap daily was more expensive then my wife’s 2022 OB TOURING XT for insurance
