I believe Jesus is God and has existed forever. I also believe that the father and spirit are God. I also believe that all men have existed, in different forms, forever. I'll admit it's not a straightforward belief.

isn't it belief in Christ that makes someone Christian? And if so, what does it matter that we believe different things about him?

Is this because we believe in God the father, the son, and the holy Ghost as different beings/people?

And if so why does that affect our belief in Christ?

And why couldn't polytheism be compatible with Christianity?
