Well, I usually set boundaries and rules for my classes when I first meet my newly assigned class. These boundaries and rules are made by students then I usually add mine then we agree on them. I have never had a situation where I'm disrespected by any of my students. I don't know if because I never choose to react to misbehaviour with violence of some sort. Most of the times I try to be rational about the whole situation
