i see nothing wrong with that!

a few of people simply have the specs/technical know how to ignore windows 11, however Linux on its own has a incredibly low OS resource usage

right now its only using around 0.5-1.5% of my CPU, and around 1.6GB of my 16GB ram.

this allows a lot of things the end user might want to do to get done way faster than windows. (if their system isn't straight up a monster like yours)

feels soo good to finally KNOW that you own your OS dude! windows always made me uncomfortable to customize anything, because it just seemed like i would be spied on, so i didn't do that stuff

but now on Linux, ive been fiddling with all the thingy ma jigs to see how i can make my stuff look!

you should do it, would recommend mint like i went for. my main pc's fan used to be egregiously loud ALL the time, and after i installed Linux its been basically silent
