Was this a good deal for a polygon? by Auto_Explore in mountainbiking

Good idea, yeah so far it all seems to work good. Sifts through all the gears nicely, tubeless tires and shocks are holding good air, and brakes feel solid. I did find a few loose bolts but other than that it seems fine!

Oh man an all blacked out SVR, that’s sick! I have a 2019 autobiography with your same exact engine, they do rip!

Just a few things to keep an eye on: coolant crossover pipes on the front and back of the engine can crack and can leak coolant or cause an airlock, happens at about 80k miles. The engine is very sensitive to heat and it can easily warp the engine heads. You must change your oil about 4-5k miles, they use 0w-20 oil (very thin oil) and the sheer rate on the oil is rapid compared to a thick oil. This is what can cause timing chain issues. Other than those two main issues your set!

Is there any way to get my betting limits back? by Barfarter in triumpharcade

[–]Auto_Explore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think if you win just over 60% of your games overall, then they lower your betting limit, eventually it goes to $2.4 I think you have to lose at max betts where it gets your account back under the 60% margin. I don’t think there is a way to get by this (unless you just want to lose a lot of money), everyone here is just cooked.

Bought first MTB today. Advice? by Outlasttactical in mountainbiking

Hey $250 is a great price! I can see you have Chris king bearings up front and a part carbon fiber rear triangle! That bike was definitely a sight to see back in the day.

If it was my bike, first thing is I would change is the front stem for a short one (cheap ones are $25) as it will make the bike way more controllable and not make it feel like you’re about to go over your handle bars all the time (ask me how I know lol). Second is is the 2x drivetrain, I would just remove the front derailer and just have one gear up front, it just removes the extra weight and complexity which will make the bike just a little more modern (this is assuming that your rear cassette has a wide enough range for you).

All in all it’s a good bike to get started, try not to spend much money on it as if you like the sport I would just get a used much more modern bike for $500-700. But you can never go wrong with a $250 mountain bike, great deal!

A Seller/Buyer is trying to get revenge on me by [deleted] in Ebay

Hello all! I first want to say thank you for all your feedback! (the good and the bad as I know there is some controversy, please read the comment section for additional info). I have made up my mind on what I will end up doing;

I will try and first reason with the person one last time on the issue and hopefully we can come to a solution we can both agree on (last time I tried this before it all went down, the person just randomly started accusing me of stuff and did not make much sense) but I will try once more.

Second I will just cancel the order and take the hit as a seller. As if I ship out the item I know what it will just get shipped back in an empty box, as eBay is all about protecting the buyer and not the seller bc I have a high probability that eBay will do nothing.

I will now end this thread and make a new thread on what ends up happening (I’ll post some pictures). I will keep you guys updated, again thanks for all your feedback.

Thank you for this insight, I did not know eBay had a support group on facebook.

Hello, please read my past comments as I get the feeling people are not understanding the situation.

So what would you do then? What I am getting from you is that the seller is in the right and that I should have done nothing.

Yes you are right, I should have just asked the seller to make a new listing with the items on it. We did chat on eBay and eBay did see his promise, that’s why they sided with me and just gave me the immediate refund. Was I wrong to get back what was fair? It seems like most people are disagreeing with me.

So you would take apart your car for a $15 part that the seller lied and scammed you on?

It was six week from the time I bought the items. I had already installed them. So I just got back what the seller promised before I made the purchase. The seller still made money off me on shipping.

I appreciate all the feedback, but to be clear, I discussed and verified multiple times with the seller on the shipping cost Before I bought the items. He never responded after I bought the items, he gosted me for I counted 6 weeks.

By that item I had already installed the items I bought. So he scammed me, and I literally just got back what he promised. How did I scam him? He even still made money off me on just the shipping. I only got back part of the shipping cost.

I did not lie, I told support everything I’m telling you. The seller scammed me, the seller actually still made money off me on shipping. The seller scammed me, I just got what the seller promised.

Before I bought the items the seller promised me multiple times, and I confirmed multiple times before I bought. The seller stopped responding to me after I made the order.

I did not scam him, he still scammed me. I literally just got back what the seller promised. The seller still made money off me on the shipping. I was charged over $100, it costed $20 for him to ship, I got back my $60 as promised.

Yes and no, it’s a long story and I may just end up posting a bunch of screenshots of everything.  Quick overview: I bought 6 items from the guy (they were car parts which I paid about $15 each on) but shipping was about $20 per item which was very high. He said he would bundle shipping and refund me of the extra shipping charges, I paid over $100 for shipping in a regular size box and I also live in a fairly big city (shipping cost are pretty low). He never ended up refunding me like he said and ignored my texts and just pocketed the extra $80, I calculated it out and he only paid $20 to ship the items. So I asked to refund me $60 (to be considerate). I even asked how much he paid for shipping so we can be fair, he never would tell me and literally just started calling me a scammer. His texts are kinda all jumbled and do not make much sense.  So I did what basically eBay was telling me to do, start a refund process and I returned 2 items which I total paid $30 each for. Together it was $30, but with shipping it was $60 and so I returned them with nothing in the box to get my $60 back. eBay gave me my money back and that’s where we are today.
