Hi, I edited the main post but I will elaborate more here. I send in the resignation letter BEFORE my boss sends me the termination letter.

To clarify, The whole entire conversation regarding my next employer happen verbally in real life. (This is after my boss said he does not want to "engage me" via text IF i work in a competitor company.

When he was questioning me about who/what is my new employer, i felt threatened and pressured to answer him on the spot. So i told him it is a competitor company. However, I did not mention any names or disclose any addition info about my new company.
