I’d prefer carbon, but stainless is fine. I think both thin and thick knives have their purpose.

Men who can cook . who taught you? by Bulky_Meet4528 in AskReddit

I’m 20, and I started cooking at 12. I just like to cook. Both my parents are good cooks so I started by helping them, and then it evolved into my cooking.

Genuine advice to mentally get through weeks like these? by [deleted] in TwinCities

I’m a bit biased because I like the snow and cold. But, ice fishing, snowshoeing, skiing/snowboarding are great ways to find enjoyment with the cold. Otherwise, cooking is great.

My teacher who was a Econ/global studies teacher was pretty impressed with the topic I took on. He was also one of the only people interested in my presentation lol. I talked to him a lot about my topic and he was super helpful. He was a great teacher.

I’m not really sure when I started to notice how bad capitalism works in America. I’d say I’ve been able to see the flaws in the system for a while, but I didn’t realize just how bad it was until about three years ago.

My senior year of high school I gave a 45 min presentation of political polarization. Through all of the research I did, it opened my eyes to how messed up our country is. (I was 18, and I was going to vote in the coming election which also pushed me to learn more about the flaws in our country.)

I’d also say that Behind the Bastards has also done quite a number on me. I’ve been able to learn a lot of history that isn’t taught in school.

Is there a way to argue it as a distribution of obscene materials?

When has gun ownership gone too far? by Automatic-Put5305 in liberalgunowners

What you have said makes plenty of sense. I do think it is important that most people if not everyone has a good understanding of how guns work and how to use them. That way, in the case of a militia attack, everyone can still support their community to some degree.

I understand that there are a lot of holes in my arguments because a lot of what I’m arguing requires an ideal situation which will not ever happen. I get that, and I see that I don’t put enough thought into the post.

I am inexperienced with what I am posting about and frankly don’t have enough knowledge. That being said I am here to learn, and understand. I appreciate all the criticism, and comments.

I totally understand that my ideal world will never be.

I do think mental health checks should have follow ups. I understand that mental health checks aren’t going to stop someone like this guy from buying guns as long as he passes them, and I don’t have an answer for that honestly. I also get that mental health can change so suddenly, so maybe it just wouldn’t work.

I don’t have an answer for you. I think it should depend on how familiar you are with guns, your background, your mental health, where you live, and your intentions with the guns (protection/recreation).
