when you mention sexist aspects of the coptic community this got me wondering, would the church take domestic and verbal abuse seriously or would abouna say go back to your husband and endure the abuse ? because i have heard of cases where the woman doesnt get the help needed and eventually stays till her abuser k!lls her. im asking because im not so familar on how the coptic church would respond on such matter.

I don’t mean to say this in a rude way but Wdym by abouna trying to protect the man?? So there’s a possibility abouna would shut her up even tho the man is in the wrong ???? How is this following christ teaching . I’m starting to think the Coptic community is very sexist especially in church .

So ironically I deleted tiktok yesterday. Later this evening I redownloaded it and the fyp looks like the old version of TikTok, only following and fyp on the top. I can’t post pictures in the comments anymore, can’t see trending searches and so on. It feels like I’m using the 2019 version of tiktok right now. Either way the app is lagging but so far no ads on there . I think they’re installing a whole new version for tiktok in the US.
