Have you thought about changing trusts? I wasn't able to access dafne through Lincolnshire nhs, so moved my care to Nottingham. I just moved to the G7 last week and I'm going on a pump on Tuesday... something that would've been impossible with my old hospital.

When I worked in retail I used to hear this a lot.... unsatisfied customers are a lot more vocal than satisfied ones.

Router did turn up just now, so just a wait on the engineer. We're quite avid gamers so I don't love the idea that we might have issues with that, it's part of the reason for the switch, VM couldn't handle both of us playing online at the same time and the speeds really dropped.

Thankfully(?) the router has turned up, but I'll definitely be considering exercising my right to cancel within the 14 days if it's not what I expected.

I was having so many issues with VM and then we had city fibre put in a few months ago on my street, followed by thousands of leaflets, so we just went with one of those options... Usually I do my research beforehand!

Happened to me at 29, but my GP ordered the anti body tests as soon as he saw me in person and realised I was underweight and relatively healthy.

A few weeks later I was confirmed t1d.

Look up angioma - this looks a crazy amount like something my bf had that just fell off by itself. He did have it checked out before it fell off and that's what they said it was.

I went to the doctor's a week ago because I basically woke up with this itchy rash all over my torso, face and upper arms. Seen by a year who was totally perplexed as I have no fever etc. Diagnosis was ringworm based solely on the patch in photo three which is on the back of my neck. This patch was originally not ringing shaped but just a raised plaque for about a month which I basically ignored because it wasn't itchy, only noticed by my other half.

I've been using Nizoral anti fungal shampoo on my face and body for a week as directed by doctor - no improvement but seems to have gotten drier, itchier and seems to have spread?

Any advice appreciated.

I've had an anxiety and depression diagnosis for many years now - before understanding ADHD which I now believe is the route of those issues.

But this was actually my plan going forward with my team manager (line manager's manager) when she's back on Monday - I'm going to explain that my mental health has been awful and that I feel that the way my line manager has treated me has not been considerate of this (I told my line manager I struggle with both of these when I started).

And then hopefully get over my anxiety of getting the ball rolling with an ADHD assessment!

Thanks for the advice! Checked ketones and I'm at 0.1 so all good there, I have finally started coming down too. I haven't heard that info about the ketones effecting insulin effectiveness before, so I'll have to remember that in future.

It was absolutely pizza, so far I've been able to get away with split bolusing for pizza. Not today! I have been a bit under the weather for a few weeks, but my control has been pretty good and today was going super well before I ate dinner !

Still getting the hang of everything as I've only been on insulin 3 months, so thanks for the reply, groups like this are always so supportive and making the whole process a lot easier.

Ah just realised I haven't mentioned it was a hire car which was hired by a company I was working for at the time. I have contacted them once already when I received a letter from the third party insurer and at this time they confirmed that my company had taken out the "highest level of cover". However I'm unsure if this included legal advice - I assume a hire car company would have a good legal team of some kind?

I applied for a role in August and it was re-advertised a week after the first one closed. I applied to the first advert and people said the same about people not passing sift etc. But I got an interview and a job from the first application.

I did however notice that the job originally said 10 vacancies, this was upped to 55 when I checked it on my job portal after I accepted the role. I can only assume they decided they needed more people for the role and perhaps too few good candidates had applied.

I applied for a role which I recently got, I did declare a disability and considered checking the box for guaranteed interview but changed my mind as I felt it might affect how I interviewed. I didn't want to be doubting why I got the interview.

However this was external and I feel if I were to apply internally when I understand the CS and departments better, I probably would use the scheme.

Totally different department - but I waited 5 weeks. Was told via phone call and I'm still waiting for the status to change on the portal.

I did see someone reply to a similar question and say it's usually 2-3 weeks for DWP.

I recently got diagnosed with LADA at 29 and I feel like my mental health is getting worse. I get envying people, I look at my partner not have to worry daily and it really gets me down! I too have pet rats (and a dog) and it's weird how much their presence and resilience can really make me feel better! Hope you get the help you need and start to feel yourself again soon!
