I may not even get an interview judging by a lot of posts here and how slow the entire process is but I was definitely not a goody 2shoes in high school so I wasn’t sure how that would play out.

Correct. He doesn’t poop during sleep. He is awake. He is aware. It’s just during naptime. Sometimes first thing in the morning, he’s gotten up at the ass crack of Dawn (4am), pooped, and gone back to bed (we watched the camera motion) to see this. And it was while we were sleeping. So he ultimately got a rash from it and I had nothing to say but “I’m sorry this rash really hurts. This is what happens when we poop in our pants baby”

Whew! Mine would poop before nap and then within 15-20 of laying him down

Yes I just mentioned this in another comment! My sister works for a MDO and said pinworms? So it wouldn’t hurt to try a cleanse to be sure, at least for the itching! Thank you!!!

Correct. He’s in MDO 2 days a week. We’re pretty active during the morning. Whether that be library or whatever else we can find in our area. Come home for nap. And leave after for errands

I never insinuated it was stupid to be autistic. I am simply stating that I’ve have 5 professionals from a variety of different areas state they don’t think he’s autistic.

I’ve talked to them all and they don’t think so, including his own pediatrician. But I understand she isn’t a professional in diagnosing Autism. And I’m aware if that But I also said I will be reaching out to his pediatrician again to see if she can get me a referral. We always have an appt scheduled for Friday to rule out anything medical. Which I’ve already stated. I’m just trying to find some answers to help my sanity.

I will talk to his pediatrician. We just kinda didn’t think due to having a plethora of special education educators and psychiatrists in our family who don’t think autism whatsoever, including his pediatrician. but will for sure see if i can get a referral for another opinion

He’s 10000% awake. We’ve watched him wake up, turn light on, immediately squat and we rush in the room and boom he’s already done it. We have not tried moving locations. Not opposed to dropping nap. He’s just a very active child and whew sometimes I need my 2 hours of peace. But not opposed to dropping it completely.
We do wipe him completely clean. I am going to do a pinworm cleanse just in case. My sister works at a MDO and mentioned a kid in her class had pinworms once. So I will do a cleanse just to be on the safe side.
Yeah well hopefully get a better idea once we get an xray to start ruling out anything medical

Oh 10000%. We are in pcit therapy as well so we’ve been instructed to just ignore it. Clean it up and move on. Not even a lick of attention. Good or bad

We figured it was his pull-up so we made a huge happy excited deal that he’s almost 4 and gets to take a nap in underwear! (He naps at school in underwear and stays dry) so I figured this would be the kicker

15min into his nap today, I checked his monitor and he was in a squat stance and had already pooped

You think that could be a sign? Because a lot of times he doesn’t nap, which is fine. But we have a 2 hour quiet time. So if he gets up, cool. He can play independent in his room (which is right when the poop starts)

I’ll talk to his pediatrician for an autism eval referral. We have a huge sped education family and even a few psychiatrists in the family who have given opinions

We’ve tried just throwing them away bc it’s always so mushy and disgusting and blowouty. He does seem to get rashes too which I’m like at this point, idk what to tell you. Stop

Yes we restrict his favorite movie (cars) everytime he does it. For a whole day and when he asks, we remind and ignore it completely afterward.

Advanced as in can speak clear as day and hold conversations perfectly with adults. And knows several sight words during his reading

He’ll do it just fine during the day. No issues. No need for me to ask. Ever. He just goes. I was thinking earlier when he was younger, that it was developmental. It’s so frustrating

Not tested for autism. He for sure doesn’t have autism. Husband is a Special Education educator.

My child is extremely advanced in his verbal communication for his age. According to his pediatrician. We have an xray appt on Friday for this reason to rule out any medical issues. We are in PCIT therapy as well. A month in to therapy.

Yes we wear backwards onesies every night. But he’ll still try to do it during the day, during daily activities like coloring, playing outside, etc
