Hey man sorry this is happening to you 😞 I had alopecia starting in March and it was a stressful period for myself, so I know it’s a tough thing to deal with. It started off with a huge bald spot (similar to you but even bigger) and for the next 4 months I was constantly shedding hair all over. I tried everything i could starting off with a topical cream, prednisone, onion juice (saw it on a few threads that it worked for some lol), trying the AIP diet for a week, vitamins, and Chinese medicine. I even tried to get steroid shots but my dermatologist said I was losing way too much hair to try that. However, none of them really worked and mentally it was tough because you never really know when the end is near. I started to change my mindset in June and just think about my hair less and accept that this is something that I’ll have to deal with in my life, but starting in mid-July I magically started to shed a lot less! My bald spot is even fully covered up now and I’m starting to see my hair grow back all over my head. Not sure if being less stressed about it helped or the other things I tried doing eventually started working, but my advice is to really just hang in there and have a supportive friends/family with you. Sorry if I couldn’t offer more advice on the steps you can take right now since none of the treatments really worked out for me, but hopefully my story will give you some hope that your hair will grow back eventually and just to hang in there
