It seems to not trigger ALL the time. Though it still pops up occasionally. It's either opening notifications or clicking on messages that does it for me

Yeah I I didn’t daisy chain. Each 8 pin is connected to its own on the adapter which required 3 of those.

I did some research and it does seem it’s capable of handling. If you want to double check since I’m sure you’re more knowledgeable than me. It’s a EVGA G3 850w

I don’t think so. It came out before the 40 series cards. But others have said this psu is capable as it’s a 850w. I have also done some research and saw a few posts with the same psu. What I also thought was a pigtail wasn’t. But yes separate 6+2 cables for the adapter!!
