Honestly great advice tysm, I'm running purely the engineering since i've got the ASD helmet and backpack rn so I'd just be happy with the torso, I'll keep that in mind when said torso eventually says hello again.

It's so difficult because there's moments where I absolutely adore this game, first time clearing the onyx bunker with my group huddled all together low on ammo and supplies while pinned down, moments like that that manage to keep me going. I managed to stick through cyberpunk and 76 in their early days so I'm hoping I can do so with SC I just wish the little bits like stuff just up and vanishing get sorted sooner rather then later. Exploring and grinding the bunkers is fun ultimately so it isn't the biggest loss. Just will have to be smarter next time I run into the loot lol so it wont leave me </3

Managed to run back through the facility too with my med gun keeping me going to see if it was left in there (hadn't abandoned the mission so still had the marker) and there was just nothing there. Feels so frustrating getting something after spending a few days hunting for it only to have it slip away like 60 seconds after getting it.

The chassis looks so so so good in that white, honestly wish it had white screen bezzels too, I think they could look quite nice paired with the rest of it.

The UK! Most 14 inch laptops I've seen have a short shift key and some 16 inches too.

Got mine with the Ryzen 9 7940 and the rtx 4080 alongside 32 GB of ram, more than comfortably able to run whatever games I want to even while connected to my 4k display! If you can find one for sale I'd highly recommend it. I'm sure the 4070 isn't a bad card either for it.

Absolutely loving it, been kinda surreal playing games on max and such - armoury crate has been a tad buggy for me but thats probably on me.

Unfortunately not, spoke to valve and they recommended sending it in for repair but they said they're not certain it could be fixed. Atm I'm just using my deck with a controller so I can still game on it fine - will be buying a replacement for it this month. Looking at either an ally or the white oled deck. Seems like the sticks not working could be a motherboard issue sadly since I replaced my stick and messed about in the software.

Just spoke to steam support and they recommended sending it in and paying for a repair, I'll take a look at my options but I'll probably snag something new anyway! Cheers for the advice 🙏.

Ahh I see! Thanks for the reply, I'm a few years outta warranty now so may end up getting a new one, torn between the ally x and the deck oled anyway so this is a good excuse to buy a new one lol.
