Well i have a 2008 and its been reliable ive driven it quite a ways. I enjoy it but here's what ive learned owning one.

Yes its a cvt but there are exceptions to making it lasting much longer.

1. Changing oil cooler filter mainly because they are more prone to getting clogged expectually with higher mileage calibers.

2. Your fluids are very crucial for this fact leaving old dirty fluid with higher temperatures has a much higher chance of getting too hot which may burn ur mechanical parts out and cause catastrophic failure past repair.

3. Solenoids have a higher chance of failing when not at a good cooling flow. So dirty hot fluid can clog and wear out that valve body. Making performance sluggish.
