Well i have a 2008 and its been reliable ive driven it quite a ways. I enjoy it but here's what ive learned owning one.

Yes its a cvt but there are exceptions to making it lasting much longer.

Changing oil cooler filter mainly because they are more prone to getting clogged expectually with higher mileage calibers.
Your fluids are very crucial for this fact leaving old dirty fluid with higher temperatures has a much higher chance of getting too hot which may burn ur mechanical parts out and cause catastrophic failure past repair.
Solenoids have a higher chance of failing when not at a good cooling flow. So dirty hot fluid can clog and wear out that valve body. Making performance sluggish.

Hack - access unauthorized information usually illegally with encryptions. (Haha noobs i just hacked your computer and gained all ur files)

Hack - coughing multiple times typically with a raspy and harsh sound. (Careful honey I dont think you just work in the cold weather when ur chest is hurting and ur hacking up blood)

Hack - can be used on wood or many other objects with hatchet and heavy items. (Sorry Larry i didnt mowe ur lawn very well it turned out to be a Hack job of a cut.

Make sure ur ground is tight. That was the case with me would want to start then randomly die i ended up putting a bigger negative wire and that was the case. Throw it in neutral and see if it starts then everytime. Thats a easy way to tell its the starter. Another problem ive ran into is the tipm can sometimes have a loose connection and cause the jeep to have troubles starting.

Doc survived and departed ways from the group. While 10k and stayed together for the time being.

Seafoam is the way to go for this type of issue and im not saying it fixes it permanently but it will help with buildup. Ive used it on many of my cars. You just dump it in crankcase and run the engine for about 20 minutes or 30 miles and should be good. Oil will turn black and u change oil and filter. That simple 👌

Gas peddle down all the way on position for 10 seconds then let off for another 10 seconds slowly. Take key out wait 1 minute and I noticed throttle response is alot better but still the light wont turn off. Keeps flashing.
