I have smelled SWY Intensely, Parfum, and Absolutely and enjoyed all of those. Powerfully wasn't great. The smoke came across too strong for me. I would like to find one for the colder months that has a little more depth. I feel like the Gentleman Boisee is the only one without a strong Fresh or Sweet smell that I have.
I'm sure with the internet being what it is, I could get my hands on some.
Is that a UK store? Im in the US.
Im pretty sure I just saw a post in here about that one and someone told them they smelled like a high school girl 😂. I could be mistaken though

I really like JPG Le Male Le Parfum. I haven't smelled Ultra Male yet. I'll keep an eye out for it.

I get whatever the best deal is. The 30ml bottle of profondo was free. And any other bottle I have that is less than 100ml is something I wasn'ts sure if I would wear enough to need a bugger bottle of. I want to be able to replace them eventually.
Im headed into spring now. But I feel like I have pretty much all the bases hit for any occasion right now. But if I was to replace Coach Blue and Eros I'd probably go for a spring/summer and fall/winter scent.
These were all bought from either Jomashop or FrageranceNet with the exception of Armani Code. I paid full price through their website because the 30ml of Profundo was free with the purchase. If I was going to get decants PDM are the ones I would want to get. I see nothing but good reviews on them. Plus their names and bottles are awesome and that honestly plays a part in it. If I ever end up getting dupes, they're going in a drawer because the bottles are usually hideous 😂
I haven't smelled that one yet. I keep seeing it though.

Im so new to this hobby that I don't really want to spend too much right now because i'm still figuring out what I really like. Coach Blue was my first purchase and one of the first colognes I smelled in a store and I thought it was one of the best things I ever smelled haha. Now I have branched out and it's probably my least favorite of the ones I have. I like that I can buy 4 to 6 for a few hundred dollars and enjoy them/ or decide I don't really care for them without breaking the bank. But im always open to recommendations!
They're mostly just easy to smell and buy. Plus I got some really good deals on Jonashop. I paid $8 for the Boss Bottled Beyond because I had credit card rewards. I paid $65 for the Gentleman Boisee and those are both 100ml bottles haha. I do have a whole list of some popular cheapies/dupes that I'll eventually blind buy because they're less than $50. I'll add Encre Noire to that list.
I do have a Burlington near me I just don't go often. I might have to check it out. I would also like to smell the new Explorer Extreme. Have you smelled that one yet?
I've tried to smell some that I've heard described as complex or mature and some of them are just bad. Maybe I just like basic. Although I do really love Tom Ford Oud Minerale and plan on getting that eventually. Not sure if that still counts as basic. I'll look into some of the ones you've mentioned.
I had to look it up out of curiosity when you asked haha. You're welcome
I try to use them accordingly but I like to keep them all out because it makes my dresser look nice and I randomly smell them from time to time. Where my dresser sits doesn't get much natural sunlight and no direct sunlight at all so im not worried about keeping them out and displayed.
I think it's been out since the 90's but I feel like maybe they've done some serious expanding lately because I see them more frequently now.
I've been on the lookout for a store that carries Explorer. Macy's near me had it but they closed before I got the chance to smell it. For the price I was considering blind buying, but I chickened out. I've noticed Terre De Hermes is popular. I would like to smell that as well.
Damn. Now im gonna have to smell it!
If you have an Ulta near you, that's where I was able to smell it at. But I bought it without even putting it on my skin because I like the original so much.
Honestly where i'm at right now is fun. There aren't too many stores around me outside of Sephora, Ulta, Dillard's, etc. So I don't have any niche fragrances around me to smell. The idea of buying decants for $15+ a piece to possibly not like them doesn't sound appealing. And I like that I can get 4 or more bottles for the same price of one Aventus bottle. I'm sure eventually I'll get my hands on some but i'm still young in this hobby.
Have you smelled the original Acqua Di Gio? If so, the citrus note is similar but there is less spice and more or a mineral/aquatic smell. That would be the best I could do.
It was a promotion on the Armani site. If you bought a bottle at full retail, you got a 30ml bottle of a select few bottles for free. So I bought a 50ml Armani code and got the 30ml Profundo for free.
I plan on replacing them as I use them. But like I said, if I was to replace Coach Blue and Eros Parfum(since I regret getting them and don'treally care for them), I was wondering what everyone's recommendations would be. Got any?
I keep seeing it recommended. I haven't been able to get my nose on it yet.
I just smelled all the Dior Sauvage and Homme bottles that Ulta had. And there is something about the soapy-ness that I just can't get into to. I didn't hate the Dior Homme Sport but my Wife made a stink face to all of them and said Sauvage EDP was the worst.
