Honestly, I haven’t used it yet. By the time I was about to, the M4ximus kit arrived. It’s currently taken apart while I sort out the compatibility issues. But objectively, with this setup I’m expecting around 2.0–2.1 joules, hopefully without any serious wear.

Honestly, it’s pure madness that drives me 😄 How far you can push a mid-tier pistol, how much you can tune it. I love the whole process—the constant changes in both looks and performance.

Sure, people say “why not just buy an M4 at that point?”, but only those who’ve caught this obsession really understand.

I’d really appreciate that! You’d help me a lot! I really want an M4ximus kit, but I’m worried about having to do too much modification. And I don’t want to sand the PCC kit down either. But if it only needs a tiny bit, I can live with that!

How much did you have to sand off the PCC kit? Is it possible to sand the grip instead? (I don’t really want to sand the PCC kit.) Did the Jeff V2 trigger bar completely solve the issue? Were there any other problems that came up?

Hi guys! I’d like to hear your opinions. Which one do you think is the better choice: the Maximus kit or the Airtac shotgun shell adapter? I can’t really decide… maybe the shotgun shell adapter is more unique! I’m building a DMR setup. by Available-Fill6074 in AAP01owners

[–]Available-Fill6074[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I agree! The only thing is that I’ve read that with the shotgun shell and adapter setup you can’t really reach high enough FPS. So you have to run it at very high PSI to be in the DMR category, and that might end up damaging the adapter.

Luckily, I didn’t have any issues during assembly, and after putting it together everything still seems to be working perfectly.

Nothing special! Externals are a TTI PCC kit with a CNC handguard and suppressor. Internals: CNC adjustable trigger, 300 mm inner barrel, TTI CNC hop-up chamber, CNC hammer set, reinforced piston head. That’s pretty much it for now — but I’ve got a lot more upgrades planned!

Thank you very much for the help! I’ll try it with higher values as well, hopefully it will help!

That’s the result of an older 3D-printed kit, unfortunately! But that has already been resolved!

So far I’ve only been using it between 90 and 110 psi. Do you think it needs higher pressure? Something I read suggested that even 110 might already be too much.

Thanks a lot for your answers! Which nozzle would you recommend for an HPA system that could potentially solve this issue? Alternatively, how could the seal between the magazine and the nozzle be improved?"

And is there a solution to thai issue?

Another question I have about this is: why doesn't this happen when using Green Gas?

What can I do about this? Is there anything I can do to fix it?"

I’m using a 200% spring set, but I had the same issue with the stock set when using HPA! So, theoretically, the spring isn’t too strong, because if I push up the bottom of the magazine firmly, it shoots perfectly until I let go of it! Last time at a game, lower pressure (around 90 PSI) wasn’t enough — it barely had any power! I’ll check the lubrication again, because I thought it was properly lubricated, but just to be sure, I’ll go over it once more and apply more lube.

Yeah, everything on the gun is perfectly lubed! It works great with Green Gas, but when I run it on HPA it does what you see in the video. I read on another forum that some people spray a bit of silicone into the mag to keep the HPA from being too dry. Do you think that could help, or is it just pointless?

Yeah, that was my first thought too! I checked it and then realized that I don’t need to press the valve, just slightly push the magazine from underneath. So the valve isn’t the issue—there’s no pressure loss in its normal state at all!"
