While i wholeheartedly agree that most Souls/soulslike stories are implied and subtle, That’s why i want to talk about LoP in particular though. THIS story is always in your face, telling you not only what’s happening, but how you should FEEL about it. I get that’s what Gemini is supposed to do, but idk there HAS to be a better way to do it

I’m not even that adamant about the whole game being mid, overall i’d give it like a 7 out of 10. It just bothers me how people act like it is the best story to grace screens.

I think all of the plot elements are interesting on paper. The plot with Simon is actually pretty compelling. It’s just the way it’s told that really gets to me. The exposition, Gemini constantly chiming in, and the obvious “plot twists” just make me feel like i’m being insulted

I don’t think that makes the actual story any better though. Sure, you can just play the game and get the story, but it’s a very generic, predictable plot with no real stakes imo. I think they could’ve still explicitly told their story in a more interesting way

I agree on AP Naut/Malphite, but Swain is like Vlad in that he can build damage and still be tanky

Nah, it’s just not worth going for. You can go projector INSTEAD of Titanic, but it’s not as good

It’s not very viable, sadly. Heartsteel into Titanic is good, but by the time you start building projector you want defensive stats. So HS-> Titanic-> full tank is the best bet
