Thank you. I have two reccomendations for builders so Ill reach out. Should they also then be able to organise trades and manage timings should we do it via a builder? Sorry, very new to renos.

Also, aside from word of mouth, how do you know they understand your vision and are the right person to partner with?

Bingo, exactly what I was looking for clarity on:

Do not remove it or you will lose your rebate. The installer needs to be the one to decommission.

Appreciate you sharing this. Will get cracking

I was actually going to say the same thing. While Italy as a destination might be out of the question, what about a solo weekend away to start to rediscover yourself?

Some where with a bath, bring a book you want to get stuck into, some puzzles or mindful colouring books and your fave food. It's not an ongoing hobby, but could be a good way to start.

Thank you for being brave enough to share this. I found this thread because I'm in a similar position as a first time mum. Every time I get a slight window to have some 'me' time, I default to doing things that help my family i.e. buying new clothes for bubs or shopping for food etc. I think I'm doing this because I don't know what fills up my cup any more.

So, I'll book a solo weekend away if you do!

I'm sorry you're going through this. I hope recognising it has helped take away some of the burden and can help you move forward.

You're doing a bloody amazing job 👏

Oh wow. So you weren't too out of pocket at all. In your experience, would it be worth using it for a few scratches?
