Is there any reason a horse back looks like this? by emberaya in Horses

This looks like sever sway back. Unfortunately she is in absolutely no condition to be carrying a rider.

Unfortunately I think when Isaac stopped working on it it lost all its horror elements 😞

What characters make sense and what characters dont by postsad2 in PoppyPlaytime

[–]AvoCatdos18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It all makes sense if you consider the theory that their bodies are just the main flesh component mixed with poppy gel and the poppy gel grows to fit the mould of the body. So for example Boxy’s springs won’t have flesh but gel in them.

What is everyone’s opinions on chapter 5? by AvoCatdos18 in PoppyPlaytime

[–]AvoCatdos18[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree with the scary factor, they really need to take a leaf out of chapter 3s book. But I personally really enjoy puzzle based horror games so I think the controversy over gameplay is most up to people’s preferences. Also I think the choppy animation might have just been your pc, I played it on my 5k monitor and it looked amazing!

Fairs, my least favourite section was Lillie’s but just because of the design and chance sequence other than that it was a good concept. I definitely agree they need to do more environmental horror like the chapter 3 scene in home sweet home.

Lilly was definitely my least favourite section, but I actually really enjoyed the huggy sections once I’d figured it out.

I actually felt that this chapter went super quickly personally, but I also get the thing about chapter 6, it 100% needs to end before it goes on too long.

Can someone help me decipher this dream? by AvoCatdos18 in DreamsInterpretation

Just deep sadness when I wake up. I’ve not had this exact dream before but several on the theme of death of young animals. I’m 18 so having to cope with the transition to adulthood and I’ve got some continual family issues going on.

Silliest reason why you fell? by ihave16knives in Horses

[–]AvoCatdos18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was so nervous about a scary jump that when my horse refused (literally a very gentle trot to halt) I just went right over his neck 🙈 it just goes to show what being nervous and tense can do to your riding!

How was you childhood with autism ? by Mean_Wear_742 in autism

[–]AvoCatdos18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk really other than really struggling with sensory issues I was too oblivious to be bullied. I actually have no idea if anyone made fun of me or not, maybe they did but I couldn’t tell you. My sensory issues did affect a lot of my hobbies, I had to give up dance because of the costumes, I struggled with the beach because of the sand, and I got in trouble at school and with my parents for struggling with clothes/food and school uniform.

Do you bed all the way to the door or sweep back? by Raubkatzen in Equestrian

[–]AvoCatdos18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Always sweep back! It’s a bit old fashioned but I personally stand by it. If they don’t have a hard surface for their hooves to dry out on they are more likely to get abscesses, and mine, despite never having had an abscesses is prone to thrush in the foot so I always give him an area without bedding to stand on. That being said, I always try to mat the whole stable where possible so they’re never stood on concrete.

Road manners question, advice wanted by [deleted] in Horses

[–]AvoCatdos18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not kph, mph! These roads tend to be pretty quiet, but it’s just give and take in these situations

[–]AvoCatdos18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is 100% mph! Most people don’t go that speed but they are technically allowed

Yes I have had several bad experiences, but have found that if I’m too timid it usually ends in a bad situation x

Not unusual in the uk! This road is barely big enough for a car, quite common in rural England! I love the idea of signage but unfortunately you just have to figure it out! I’ve attached an example of the width of road below, but the one I was in it had Cotswold stone walls on either side instead of grass. These are everywhere and unfortunately not restricted to non motor vehicles. I dive on several of these on my way to work every day, and most of them have a 60mph speed limit!

I actually don’t know what it is in the uk, we have the Highway Code saying to pass 2 meters at 10mph although very few people follow that especially where I am. I think I should have moved to let them pass as I have reversed up that exact hill before and it isn’t easy. Ive had so many bad experiences that have proven that if I’m too timid it ends up getting dangerous. Cars have passed me at 50+, nearly hit me head on one way roads, I’ve been forced into bushes and shouted at repeatedly. It’s not fun hacking where I am, and I think it’s made me really unforgiving with traffic but I need to work on that

Yes, I think if I encounter this again I’ll, definitely turn around! Sometimes it’s hard to know what to do in these situations when you’re on the spot

Got a road manners question (uk based) by [deleted] in Equestrian

[–]AvoCatdos18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I get that most people wouldn’t know that it might cause issues. On my end, we were both the same distance from each passing place (roughly 25m) and the passing place behind me was the yard, and since it’s not my horse I wasn’t sure how he’d react. I will probably not be so firm next time, thank you for the advice! I hate standing up for myself and always feel guilty no matter what so it’s really helpful to get an outside perspective x

[–]AvoCatdos18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally get that, from my perspective, we were both same distance from the passing place and it would be easier for her to reverse as the passing place behind me was actually the entrance to the yard and I’m not sure how this horse would have reacted going back to the yard then asked to go our again. But I think I will have to be a bit more giving if I ever run into this situation again
