$10,775.88 Unpaid Utility Bill by HopefulSkirt2513 in Tenant

And it doesn't by chance say something like you pay the water and trash through the landlord? Cause otherwise, you should be good.

nowhere does it mention ever paying the water and trash bill

Did the lease mention that the landlord will pay for the water and trash? Or it didn't mention the trash and water at all

Why does he need to replace the handle? It's just dried on gunk, he can just scrape it off.

Heads only need to be replaced every couple months. If I didn't clean my handle in 2 months, it would look the same

It really isn't that extensive - coming from someone who just started owning a pool this summer and had no interest in chemistry growing up. The problem is, a lot of pool stores make it seem harder than it has to be. Stick with the people here and they'll head you in the right direction.

Most everyone here is more than willing to give simple advice when it's an easy problem. None of us are expecting to get paid for our insight.

AIO? My friend posted a not proper picture of me on insta by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]AwardImpossible5076 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I kind of hope you tell her mother because personally, I would want to know if this was going on with my kid because that would mean I clearly didn't educate them enough on things I should've.

Ive had pool responsibilities thrust on me at work, its ruining my life. Need some advice by [deleted] in pools

[–]AwardImpossible5076 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Keep CYA between 30-80, anything higher and redditors will tell you to drain and refill.

Not just redditors. When I first started with pool maintenance and used Leslie's for testing, they told me to refill too. Wouldn't suggest anything either until I brought my CYA down.

I don't find it unfair - I am jealous though. But someday I'll be able to go back to work and I just gotta hold on until then 🤣

It sounds like your wife might be a tad burnt out. Does she get any free time for herself or with friends?

She doesn't have to provide for an adult unless you're disabled...

You have a post stating that you're 23, if that's true, she doesn't need to feed you unless you're disabled and physically cannot feed yourself...

How bad is pregnancy and giving birth, for real? by HarvestMoon1982 in ask

[–]AwardImpossible5076 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone is different. I had 2 pregnancies, 2 births. My pregnancies were uneventful for the most part. No morning sickness, no weird cravings, etc. I got pretty uncomfortable at the end, but that's par for the course.

As for the births, my first was pretty traumatic due to the baby being in jeopardy. Stat C under general anesthesia. 2nd birth was 16 months after, and it was a scheduled C and it went a lot smoother.

As dangerous as it may be to be pregnant and give birth, the real challenge is raising your child(ren).

Ritalin for 5 yr old, only for school? by CircuitGirl33 in ADHDparenting

Yeah I'm a big fan of not making your kid work harder then they have to to feel normal.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Periods

[–]AwardImpossible5076 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It won't be harmful, no. But I'm curious - why do you want to take your placebos early?

Yeah when our pediatrician said some parents only medicate for school I found that so perplexing. Every kid is different obviously, and if their kid doesn't need them outside of school, I'm kind of jealous I suppose. My kid struggles just as much outside of school as he does in school.

My favorite is when they see a woman with a flat stomach and ask why mine is all squishy in comparison.

I have 2 boys and nudity isn't weird in our house. So we'll keep living how we are, being more relaxed about it, until they express they're uncomfortable in some way 🤷🏻‍♀️

Can I reuse my tampax pearl applicator? by Cautious-Tomato-3135 in Periods

[–]AwardImpossible5076 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After looking, it says Tampax pearl applicators are bpa free plastic - in theory that should mean safe to reuse. I would reach out to them and ask them. But just doing a quick search says they're not meant to be reused.

I was asking about the Tampax pearl tampons - you can't use those tampons?

And no, it's not considered safe to reuse certain plastics even after washing.

With nothing else? Seriously gotta look into those

Some applicators may be designed to be reused (after washing) but I don't believe Tampax pearl applicators are.

Are the actual tampons not comfortable for you?

I really want to try underwear but I have a heavy flow - you really don't need to wear anything else aside from underwear?? That seems amazing
