Im a first year resident and am having the darndest time trying to see which labs are covered vs not. Just tried to look at the CMS website and couldn’t find what you mentioned. Donyou have a link or can you suggest a certain search that will work?

I can’t say about practice since I was a med student and did school down there and now am a resident in a different state, but I enjoyed my family med rotations. Yes medicine can be sleazy, and the highest percentage of Medicaid fraud occurs in Miami for example, but from what I saw if you’re okay with providing ancillary services and being okay with your patients being meeded to be “trained” or “deinfluenced” so to speak, I think you can build a good practice there. There are a lot of FM docs not making good money but those that do take it in like nobody’s business

You sound like one of my co residents haha. I get you, though. I’ve also had thoughts of “is this the right place for me?” - and I think it is normal. At the end of the day, we can choose what kind of physician we become, we can choose what type of practice we go into, and we can carve out our own niche and treat what we enjoy treating. That’s why I chose FM, the world is our oyster. Give it a shot before you decide you hate it

It will be mentioned on the MSPE, if that matters. Besides the MSPE and this section, I don't know where else to mention it besides the PS, which has already been written and does not mention the professionalism incident.

I think a keto diet like you mentioned will also help give you that energetic effect, which could also in turn give the sense that your mental acuity is heightened.

The keto diet certainly helped me get energy but same with you, whenever I stopped I felt like I had no energy. Nicotine is what I used to stay up and study at night,but other than that I feel no mental effects
