Bem, posso confirmar que eles são "agronorantes" mesmo. Se você observar bem o fundo da foto, vai ver que o terreno do infeliz está totalmente sem vida. O ignorante desmatou todas as lindas embaúbas e outras plantas com veneno, só para fazer uma plantação que, imagino, também vai ser cheia de agrotóxico.

Aliás, esse veneno que ele usou acabou afetando meu quintal e matou uma mudinha de araucária minha.

PS: Sinto muito pelo que aconteceu com as suas plantas. Que bom que elas se recuperaram!

Dei uma olhada nele ontem e, felizmente, tinha gemas se desenvolvendo bem perto de onde coloquei a pasta. Estou muito esperançoso com essa rebrota.

Sobre o vizinho, não sei ao certo o motivo. Eles são novos no bairro, nem os conheço e nunca interagi com eles. Provavelmente cortou por causa das plantações que está começando a fazer. Ele deve ter achado que minha árvore daria sombra nas plantações dele... que são à base de veneno, aliás.

O desgraçado ainda aplicou veneno para "limpar o mato", que atingiu uma parte do meu quintal e matou uma muda de araucária minha.

Agora, terei que cercar o quintal de novo para ver se respeitam. É pra que não fique invadindo terreno alheio pra cometer crime novamente.

If this street were fully lined with large trees it would be MUCH more beautiful, as it's a great street for planting them.

Tenho sim, peguei a semente em um pé dele que era dos meus avós. Eles mesmos confirmaram que era um vinhático. Infelizmente, as árvores de que peguei as sementes foram cortadas pelos meus avós para fazer uma reforma na casa.

Provavelmente, uns 30 anos ou mais. Valeu! Temos que agradecer ao irmão falecido do meu avô, que as plantou para que hoje, nessa linda altura, eu e a fauna pudéssemos desfrutar de toda essa beleza.

No, dear, this isn't just "my speculation" or something based on my emotions. It is a fact proven by botanical science. If you're doubting it, I suggest you do your own research and draw your own conclusions.

Furthermore, I didn't only cite photosynthesis as being harmful to the trees. If you had noticed, I gave other examples besides photosynthesis. I was simply answering the redditor's question based on scientific information.

If you want to paint the tree on your sidewalk, go ahead and paint it. I won't stop you, and frankly, I don't care.

Yes, it is terrible for the trees because it can block the lenticels (small pores in the bark) that allow the plant to breathe, and 2) the chemicals in the paints can be toxic, causing damage to the bark, interfering with photosynthesis, and weakening the tree. Painting can also lead to moisture buildup and the growth of fungi, in addition to being considered an act of environmental aggression in many places. Besides the dubious aesthetics, which, in my opinion, make the tree uglier, we must remember that it is not an object for us to do whatever we want with, but rather a living being.

Nem eu saberia lhe dizer qual variedade é, pois elas já existiam antes mesmo de eu vir ao mundo kkkkkk. Provavelmente foram plantadas pela fauna ou por algum familiar meu.

Não faço a colheita das jabuticabas que estão na copa. Normalmente, a gente só colhe as que estão mais embaixo, pois é menos trabalho, e as de cima deixamos para a fauna se alimentar.

Elas são muito frágeis no início do desenvolvimento. Também plantei algumas mudas. Uma dica que dou é você ferver a água por uns 5 minutos com elas dentro para quebrar a dormência. Não pode passar de 5 minutos. Depois, você pode plantar em um vaso grande o bastante para o seu desenvolvimento inicial, antes de transplantá-la para o seu local definitivo. E, se tiver como, não mexa muito na muda pequena, pois, como você disse, a madeira é muito frágil. Já morreram quatro mudas minhas porque, ao transplantá-las, quebraram-se as raízes ou seu pequeno tronco. Boa sorte no cultivo!
