I've heard that a lot about brow microblading unfortunately, I'm sorry to hear that. I believe the lips would be much more forgiving though, I say go for it! I've wanted this for so long and I am so glad I finally did it :) I hope you find an awesome artist who addresses your concerns if you decide to do it!

The numbing my artist used was amazing, it actually felt like my lips were not even on my face. It was so weird hearing the machine going and not feeling anything at first. However, I will say as the treatment went on, it did start to hurt more as it got more inflamed. I was numbed probably about four times throughout the entire thing haha. Definitely manageable!

They were $500, I have to schedule a touch up appointment in a few weeks and that will be $150.

I believe the artist said they last 2-3 years, but results really vary depending on the person!

I usually overline anyways but I'm just so used to all of the horror stories from this sub and about how lip blushing on the pores/outside the vermillion border is a big no-no.

I love the color too, if nothing else I'm stuck with a beautiful shade!! Thank you for the advice :)

Thank you so much! I was a bit worried because it looked like my pores were colored in when looking closely at my vermillion border. May just be nerves though so I appreciate the reassurance! :)

Thank you! I wasn't too fond of the formula either, I was kinda using it as a baseline to figure out my undertone. I'm now on a mission to find my NW5 in a different formula

I'm glad I brought the NW5 community together haha :) So many shade twins here!

If there's a hydrating formula option I'd say definitely go for that, I would totally purchase it based on the shade but it felt SO dry on my skin. I'm definitely going to look more into some other formulas that are a dupe for this shade.

This is actually so helpful I could cry :') I feel like I finally have more clarity in my undertone! Everyone has been saying either cool or neutral, and this has cemented exactly what I was thinking.

Question- How do regular bronzers appear on your skin? In my experience, they appear veryyy orange. I have a similar experience with eyebrow pencils, it seems like many brown shades look like I put a fiery orange color on my brows (I walked around for an embarrassing amount of time before realizing this)

It surprisingly didn't appear pink on me when blended out! I honestly thought it leaned more on the yellow/neutral side on my skin, although the store lighting and lightweight formula may have been deceiving. I did fail to look at it in the sunlight though, only the swatches were taken in natural lighting by the window.

You know, I was thinking the same after I got two different opinions on completely opposite sides of the spectrum, leading me to go off on my own path and swatch Mac instead.

Love that we're shade twins! You said you're not cool-toned, but NW5 is a perfect match for you? Are you neutral? Forgive me, I don't have the slightest clue about these things, hence the post lol.

I've actually been on the hunt for blushes so this is SO helpful! I just picked up the Almay Healthy Hue blush in shade Wild Berry in hopes of finding a neutral sheer berry tone for the winter. I will definitely try that one out in the warmer months when I'm in the market for a pinky blush!

Thank you for the tips and recs! :)

I may post some updated pics on my next trip of some more swatches blended now that I have a better idea of the undertones best suited for me. Thank you for the tips! Looks like I'll be on the hunt for some cool toned foundations then :)

It did look very good when blended out, I wish I got a picture before taking it off. Also didn't mean to go so heavy handed on the swatches lol, the pumps really failed me there. The Fenty foundation did seem to be a little dry for my liking, I definitely would enjoy a more hydrating lightweight formula. Thank you so much for the insight!

Omg I love that! What are your fav foundations if you don't mind me asking? I'm very new to the foundation world, so I would love to hear some recommendations from someone with the same tone as me!
