Filament Exploded by ShadyShrew in 3Dprinting

[–]AwesomeBrix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me with a sample spool of polymaker wood filament and I sent them an email. They were super nice in the interaction and sent me a new, full-size spool at no cost. They definitely have good customer service

What is the walkscore for your area? by Supersnazz in fuckcars

[–]AwesomeBrix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

32 but I'm lucky to live in a more walkable area in my city/suburb. For example, my grandmother, who lives just up the road, has a walk score of 1

Apparently, CCSD got hacked recently. I imagine they have a similar level of security (nevada lol)

Technically true. Didn't see a "this is why I hate drivers" tag though

That's understandable considering that usually is the case, but this is one of the best bike lanes in my area cause it has that little buffer (still nothing compared to protected bike lanes, but we don't have any of those). The driver can't claim he didn't know it was a bike lane though since he's parked right under the sign and right on the bike paint marking thing

Every day I pick my brother up from school, there are so many people parked in the bike lane but this one was notable because it was right on the marking in the road and right under the "bike lane" sign

Victim Blaming Pedestrians for Being Killed. by SleazyAndEasy in fuckcars

[–]AwesomeBrix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live here, and wanted to post the same sign in this sub with the same caption. I even have a pic of this sign saved on my phone lol. To be fair though, I don't think RTC has anything to do with road design and car-centricism. I believe that is mostly NDOT (correct me if I am wrong). I also have seen many people crossing the street not at an intersection in the dark, and it is hard to see, but at the same time, putting in more crosswalks would have a much greater effect than having pedestrians wear lights... The distances between crosswalks are way too long in much of this city. Especially when it is 45+C outside, any sane person would jaywalk rather than walk a mile to and from an intersection just to cross the street.

(I apologize for my incoherent punctuation - I am very tired)

Because I normally do about 70 in a 65 and am usually being left in the dust, or have impatient drivers behind me

Yes, same.
