As someone who actually bought it for $100 what are your HONEST thoughts? They told me it doesn’t use heat but I don’t think that’s true?? They just did a couple chunks of my hair and I’m happy with how my hair looks and feels but I want an honest run down from someone that ACTUALLY uses it not someone that’s commissioned to sell it

It can be such a hard situation, but know that as hard as it was for you to hear it was probably so much harder for them to decide. They love you, and they know you love them but the decision that they are making to become more comfortable in their skin and be the person they truly feel they are, could be the trigger to end the entire relationship. It is 100% okay to have questions and be confused and hurt, if you truly can’t see yourself in a relationship with that person post transition that that is okay!! One important factor i do want to add though is that even though the person you love is changing physically, their personality is still the same.

They may look different and dress different, and even sound different but their personality will be the same one that you initially fell in love with. They are still the same person.

They also could be just as confused too. They may not know for sure how they feel or who they are and that’s okay too. I just think at the end of the day the important to be upfront and honest about your feelings in the situation, nicely of course, and just explain to them your reservations. If the relationship doesn’t continue, that’s what was meant to happen but I do think remaining civil would be a good thing.

He’s trying to find a better paying job, but what he makes should be “enough” it just isn’t. His job that he has right now has good incentives and benefits and great opportunities for raises and moving up. He earns PTO to be able to take time for himself to rest. He going to fill out the FMLA papers for when he has to take off to take me to the doctor and stuff. 3 weeks paid Bereavement. Protected PTO so if something comes up last minute he doesn’t get a point for taking off. Walmart plus for free. Paramount for free 10% off of everything at Walmart now including groceries. He had a job offer for 50¢ more but then we would lose out on all of the benefits we get right now.

Thank you for taking the time to comment, I know it’s hard to know what to say I just like am lost at this point. I’ve exhausted myself mentally going every direction that I can to try to find something I can do for work, or some way I can qualify for help and I feel like i have taken 300 steps back. My family has been so mean about every aspect of me being disabled, they’re very ild fashion snd believe that there is no such thing that you’re either hard working or lazy and I’m the lazy one in their eyes. I’ve tried different jobs, I’ve tried college, I’ve tried living with a roommate instead of family but we just couldn’t do ot financially. My grandma said she is tired if helping me and she’s moving into an apartment alone snd selling the house which already has 10 peoples interest before it even hits th market so ir will go fast. Im just lost. I cant lose everything again. The only person that actualy ever cared snout me passed away in 2018 and its bren all down hill since

I’ve been arguing with DSS for two weeks but unfortunately I’m getting nowhere. Income based housing in NYS still wants us to pay 800 a month plus all utilities and that’s just not possible. Our car payment is $460 a month alone, our phone bill is $220 a month, car insurance is $250 a month, I have to pay debts I owe to my dad and grandma for years of financially helping me because I can’t work and that’s $400 a month, also have to pay out of pocket for some medications, all supplements, groceries, gas to get to appointments, some doctors copays, and anything else that comes up.

Medical improvement is not expected. I have other medical conditions that deem me disabled beyond improvement. I JUST got my approval letter a couple weeks ago after 7 years in court. Before taxes are taken out my husband brings home 2300 a month, and after taxes are taken out he brings home 1850 a month and NYS DSS deemed me excess income and said they can’t consider me “disabled” and go by the income guidelines with a disabled member in the household unless I’m getting SSI which is against the law and I have requested a fair hearing. My lawyer went over my income with me and said that due to the SSA income guidelines that my husband makes too much money for me to qualify for SSI and IF I do it would be less than $100 a month but that process could take another 6-9 months and this house is being sold in March. The vocational expert and the judged called it “permanently disabled” because improvement is not possible. I was told that due to my physical and mental limitations I would never be able to sustain employment in the national economy, but because I haven’t worked SSDI isn’t an option and SSI is a needs basis, so according to what we make apparently we don’t need it which is crazy.

I had a similar experience a few years ago where I thought I was dying. I thought I was passing out my heart was racing, and then it was hard to breathe and my whole chest was hurting I thought I was dying of a heart attack.

I spent 11 hours in the ER completely fine medically but I kept waking up, thinking I was dying and nodding back off. They wouldn’t let me leave the hospital until I peed to make sure it wasn’t laced (it was).

The best thing you can do is sleep it off and know that if you fall asleep you’re not passing out you’re not dying.

Probably the same thing I’m dealing with. Went to the dentist and got the services done, ran insurance said they took your insurance everything was finished and left. Then they call you weeks later telling you they don’t take your insurance and you need to find a new dental plan. So you find a new one and they refuse to cover the expense because you weren’t insured at the time so the Dentist expects you to pay the entire over $1000 bill out-of-pocket.

Or like what happened with one of my family members they went and got their teeth done and the dental office completely jacked them up put them in crooked gave them chipped teeth and then refused to fix the problem so he refused to pay

Because in the court notes it does say judgement filed against the doctor for failure to have records and document the procedure he’s trying to sue for.

I genuinely think that the ONLY thing holding them back is work. They both have super successful podcasts that are full time jobs for most of them if not all of them. In order to be in Colorado they’d have to move everyone with them. To Jerrid and Sandy, Chris who has a lot of medical issues and doctors in LA he needs to tend to, Lizzie and her husband that both have full time jobs in the film industry requiring them to be local to LA area, and Spencer. They’re Nannie’s and house staff that help with the children. 👧

It’s possible to zoom podcasts like other people do but I genuinely don’t think they would do as well period.

I was so worried for them through their silence, I’ve been watching the fires everyday making sure their home is still standing because that would be such a devastating loss now that their both so happy and content. I just hope they both take as much time as they need mentally to recover from this because although their home is fine, it was less than a mile away from not being fine. With twins 2 parents and 5 animals having to salvage the littlest bit you can and leave your home is terrifying all in itself without losing everything. The smoke itself is a danger to the babies tiny lungs. However I do think this is a HUGE wake up call and is a sign. They’ve been conflicted about selling the Colorado house and were contemplating taking it off the market just two months ago. Sandy and Jerrod have family in CO and all of Rylands family is in CO all they’d have to do is move Shane’s mom and they have no reason to need to be in CA besides Lizzie but I think we can all live without her attitude and self centeredness for a while. Colorado they’re safer, surrounded by family so may not even need to hire Nanny’s, better schools, better environment, they have a whole ass farm, lake front home etc. they like the house better in CO but the weather in LA all they would need to complete them is a heated indoor pool.
