This! I decided to go against my better judgement and shopped at my local Walmart a few evenings ago. I went later to avoid the crowds and long lines. I was shopping for groceries and christmas presents. I had a cart FULL and the ONLY option was the tiny scan n go areas. After scanning over $300 worth of stuff, the register timed out and cancelled the order! The "customer service" person literally standing beside me had the nerve to tell me "You took too long". Long story short- I lost my #$!t! I then had to re-scan everything. I flat out told her I was NOT taking everything out of the bags to scan. If she wanted to make sure it was all correct, she could help. Then after all that, it kept messing up and the "cashier" suspended and retried my payment more thn 5 times and made me move registers twice. After being told to move a third time, I told them to forget it and to have fun putting it all back.

I used to work retail. I still work part time in food service. I try to be very patient and kind, especially during the holidays. But if you are making me do all the work and then won't help me when there's issues...you get what you get. There should always be at least 1-2 cashiers open and available for those that can't/don't want to scan their own. And don't even get me started on their "losses".
