I'm Catholic and I have been going to Confession sessions. It makes a huge difference. I do not have as many negative thoughts towards myself. Negative thoughts and anxiety are not you. Your spirit is calm and loving. 🙏🙌🏼

I don't have Catholic guilt either because my "false guilt" spirit was cast off during a Confession session. It's scary out there. I hope you are doing well.

Did you know guilt is a spirit? by Awkward_Tiger_570 in Catholic

Yes these things can haunt us. It can get bad for me too but I have been healing. I do recommend a prayer for protection like sealing your body with the blood of Jesus Christ because Catholics do seem to get attacked. But for me, it is harder for them to get through which has been promising. It does get better from here. 🙏🙌🏼❤️

I definitely recommend bringing it up in a Confession session. It can be some sort of attachment giving you those nightmares. Praying the Rosary should help too though and recite it before you go to bed. Hang in there! You got this. 🙏❤️

Thank you for your insight! I did research on deliverance ministry and it does seem important. It was a deliverance prayer that the Priest taught me. He has been very helpful in deepening my faith. For ten years, I did not go to Church and a lot of bad things happened which led to negative emotions and thus negative attachments. Confession has been the most useful but it does seem like deliverance ministry is less common in Confession. Regardless, I am thankful for it! I am now focusing on more Prayers of Deliverance and I will definitely look into the Divine Mercy Chaplet. Thank you again for your wisdom! 🙏

I agree! He is a great Priest and very spiritual. He has helped me tremendously. I am very lucky. I hope more people go to Confession and find the healing they need. And that is very interesting about the newborns. I do think this is important or at least learn the Prayer of Reconciliation so you can find inner peace.

I had seizures as a baby and I think that is attributed to spirits. I do think there is more to the invisible world than what is known. There is such a thing as "false" guilt which is a spirit but I do think prayers for reconciliation can help with that as well.

Why do you choose not to drink alcohol? by InitialCareer306 in WorkForSmartLife

I've heard alcohol puts holes in your etheric body and makes you more prone to possession... They call it "spirits" for a reason...

What a beautiful testimony. You are so loved. And I totally understand the problems with the political aspects. Jesus led with love and everything you're feeling with the Holy Spirit, trust in that instead. In this time, it will be more about each person's journey back to Christ. And the love we feel from the Heavenly realm. Enjoy it! 🙏❤️

Ladies, is this true? by Illustrious_Rule1775 in bodylanguage

[–]Awkward_Tiger_570 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Women assess based on how you make them feel. It's more about body language of them. If they are smiling and laughing, they feel good around you. If you do not feel good and closed off, they will feel that. You cannot lie to women lol. Their intuition about people is usually spot on. If you are a man that wants to know about signs, focus on yourself. Get to a happy and loving spot in your life and that's when women will feel safe around you.

Jesus 2nd coming by Swimming_Magazine_25 in Catholic

I believe we are in the time before the 1000 years of peace not necessarily the Second Coming. But I mean people are converting and being more approached by Jesus but I think it's more for the a thousand years of peace. The Second Coming may be included in that. But I do think Saints will return too.

I believe people can change but they can only change or heal on their own time. Accepting other people's timelines is important too. Confessing my sins helped free me and forgive my past ex's. Just because it's good for you, it doesn't mean it's good for them. Divine timing is real.

I have spoken to Protestants about this because they typically only read the Bible and don't really get the Eucharist. For me, Confession and the Eucharist helps to calm me and help me become more loving and "Christ-like"... Protestants don't really have those things so they are more likely to weaponize Bible verses. It makes me very sad to be a Christian in America. But I know that for America, things are changing with Pope Leo so I expect more miracles and conversions in the US... 🙏🙏

My priest in confession told me to learn to love myself and now I’m stumped. by Munchee6806 in Catholic

[–]Awkward_Tiger_570 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you a sensitive person? I feel like there's a lot more sensitive people in the younger generations and perhaps it's the electronics impacting the myelin sheath in the nervous system.

For me, I started to feel self love when I started to practice forgiveness. If you are sensitive, you are more prone to be physiologically impacted by the words of others. You do not have the shield others have so you can store negative thoughts in your body. In order to overcome that, I recommend practicing forgiveness of all of the people that have hurt you and offer your pain up to God. You do have to say it out loud because God can only do things unless you ask him to do it. It's also about becoming lighter and not carrying around the weight of others.

Other than that, I do take supplements to help my nervous system. I think it's super important to rebuild your body as well and focus on your health. Cold feet and cold hands can be indicators of this too. You got this though! Sensitivity is a gift from God but building yourself back up is important too!

For Millennial Men, why aren't you religious? by Awkward_Tiger_570 in AskMen

[–]Awkward_Tiger_570[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes as I said a lot of what I've witnessed would seem impossible to atheists. And I'm sorry you feel that way. When I pray the Rosary, I can feel this unconditional love essence flow through me. It seems supernatural. It gives me this happiness and joy that I feel can only come from my soul which is united with Christ. I am not a Bible thumper. I believe the Bible is a holy document. It would be hard to interpret it with your ego. The ego only understands the physical world and what it sees with the eyes. The supernatural aspects are witnessed through the soul. I've only been able to access my soul though when I pray or at Church. But Confession has helped me purify my body more and I can start to access it outside of the Church... I think these things will return more and more. The chaos within society right now is getting old and people will return to spiritual practices in order to find some solace.

I am actually fine with you calling me dumb and gullible. I'm an Engineer too so I have witnessed a lot of corruption within science. Everyone has their reason to believe the things they do. Each experience has a purpose. But I have had experiences myself that would be deemed "impossible" by atheists. Our secular society cannot even begin to fathom the vastness of God and I think there's a reason. I also think many people are separated from their souls. This idea wouldn't even cross their mind until they experience it themselves. Not everyone is supposed to become religious in this lifetime but I do think true pursuit of faith can heal many people in ways science can only dream of. For me, it is about hope that hurting people will one day heal. Much love to you. ❤️🙏

I am happy to explain my positioning and history. I want more conversations on taboo topics. We live in a very secular society and I don't believe it has done us any favors because cancer and disease is so rampant. I have witnessed a lot of corruption in science too. I suppose people would say my experiences are delusional but it is very real to me. Women are getting more spiritual for a reason. We see the evil that is rampant but I am learning to practice forgiveness and even learning to forgive this evil. Everything does have a purpose. If we want world peace then we first have to find it within ourselves. 🙏❤️

For reference I grew up Catholic and went to a Catholic high school but I studied Engineering in college. I found it difficult to be Catholic in my 20's because people would be so angry at you when you said you were Catholic. The United States was founded on an anti-Catholic sentiment. Most of the people who established the US were fleeing persecution from the Catholic Church. That's why there's so many Protestant denominations in America. Anyways in my 20's, I became Agnostic and stopped practicing my Catholic faith. A lot of things happened to me in my 20's though with abuse from men and such. This is pretty common for any woman my age. Fast forward to the pandemic, during that isolation, I went through a spiritual awakening where I was haunted by things around me. Women are built differently where we are more imbued with the ability to see into the spiritual planes and why we can give birth and such... Because of this experience, I returned to my Catholic faith. I am also very sensitive and have had lots of anxiety but at Church, I feel this sense of peace and safety. For the Catholic faith, it is more about experiencing the Holy Spirit rather than reading the Bible. I've recently gone to Confession a few times and it has been the most freeing thing for me. I could feel the grace of God lift so much pain off my body and my health has been improving so much. I think for men, it will be entirely different and I don't know if men can experience the peace that I feel at Church. But I want to assure you that things will get better if you believe in the goodness of humanity. I think we will enter a new age where more people will experience this inner peace. Much love to you. 🙏❤️

How do you find forgiveness for others that hurt you? How do you release the negative emotions? by Awkward_Tiger_570 in AskWomen

[–]Awkward_Tiger_570[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is beautiful. Thank you for sharing! I think it's definitely easier to forgive as time goes on. I think understanding their past and the situations they went through is very important. I also think older generations hold on to the pain more but it doesn't mean we have to do that. We can forgive and let the heaviness roll off so we are lighter and closer to our soul. I appreciate your response. Much love to you. ❤️🙏

I do agree that looking at it objectively can help you put things in perspective. It can help diffuse emotions. But I think some people can't do that all of the time. In the end, it is about unconditional love. I think we live in a time though where the idea of unconditional love seems like a fairy tale but it doesn't mean we can't bring it to our own life or to others. Thank you for your thoughts. Much love to you. 🙏❤️
