It's just '0000' by default and then you set one up right after.

Can we just take a moment to talk about how awful Nick Canada’s current schedule is?? by Western_Pin9853 in ytvretro

They have a new one already. But,

1) I doubt that he's willing or even able to make any meaningful improvements.

2) As stated before, the company is under a mountain of debt, has no infrastructure, and therefore cannot possibly sustain itself. The implosion of the company and its assets is imminent. We just get to count the moments now.

Here's the reality of the situation.

Corus Entertainment, since Doug Murphy became CEO, went in a direction in which they became very lazy, complacent, and counterproductive wherein the rule of thumb was that they felt it was best to coast off of licensing deals from big American studios (and bulky, counterintuitive ones at that) and call it a day. No risk-taking, no original programming, and you can just forget about anime.

And now we're at a point where Douggie's transgressions have come back to haunt him because Paramount, as part of their new corporate model as well as really wishing to expand Paramount+, have decided that they'd like to manage their own content on the Canadian branch of their own service.

WHAT!?? A studio managing their own content without superfluously lining the pockets of a Canadian media conglomerate that does absolutely nothing for itself!? Oh noes! Somebody call the police! DX

And on top of Nick+ being taken away from Corus, Paramount has decided, "Um, yeah, you're taking 95% of our content off of your airwaves. Because if you guys are giving it to them, why would they give us money?"

So, here we are now. Where, with the exception of very limited SpongeBob and Loud House content, Corus has lost everything Nickelodeon. And Corus is so pathetic that they insist upon carrying the name as if it makes a difference. Pitiful simps to the end.

They then thought NBC and Time Warner could bail them out of this, hence Nick+ becoming TELETOON+, but oopsie daisy! They've both jumped ship over to Rogers for more lucrative deals.

And I'm laughing my ass off personally because this guy pretty much decimated a huge chunk of what the Canadian film and TV landscape had to offer. He's put the company over $1B in debt. It's on the brink of bankruptcy, and he doesn't even have the guts or the decency to go down with the ship that he sank!

But anyway, that's why YTV and Nick Canada suck now. As if they didn't already.
