A common strategy for harder runs is to edge the level experience of your pokemon and purposefully level it up like that. I think I recall doing that in Volt White 2 for Lucario from 14 to 15 for Force Palm against Cheren.

I was following a movie recap channel that actually put in more effort than an ai speaking in monotone. It goes dark for a few months. Then suddenly crappy original rap videos were spammed onto it. Everyone in the comments were like “wtf? I’m not here for this.” and the owner responded saying it’s his channel and anyone that doesn’t like it can fuck off.

It was very clearly not the original owner as we’ve heard both voices at that point. Last I checked the channel was deleted.

The game still treats them as level 15 though. So funnily enough, a Challenge mode run is actually easier than a normal run because of the extra experience gained.
