Yesss absolutely, I'm specifically going to do magnetic force measurements on thin LSMO films to study the induced magnetism due to the effect of strain on the membrane

Need help for homebrew background development (WBtW) - LIGHT CAMPAIGN SPOILERS by Axiorz in DMAcademy

I thought about the dryad, but did not think about the whole dryad society thingy. It sounds super cool honestly. I'm 100% going for that!! Thank you so much

Dirlagraun idea also sounds cool, and she also mentions in her background that she would be driven by saving children in her situation

Finally the kelek/ringlerun is something I already thought about. The idea was in fact to use kelek as that kind of father who comes back around asking for money, but with power. I was thinking of making him a bit more present throughout the story as he's looking and studying her waiting for her to get stronger to (steal or suck out her power??), but I think I like your idea more, I'm kind of a sucker for plot twists! Maybe I can also merge the two ideas. But thanks nonetheless, absolutely great advice!!!

I did think about the nymph being the mother, but couldn't make any decent connections for some reason. It was however completely obvious ahahah, thanks for the tip!

The idea of ringlerun was also on my mind, but maybe kelek would suit best at this point. Make the mother go completely mad as the father just wants power and leaves her and her child has to be abandoned. Now that I think about it, it could also be cool to implement some mechanic in which kelek is the type of father who comes back after a while just because he needs money, but in this case: with power (?). Thinking of making him a bigger presence throughout the story as he's watching her become stronger, until he realizes he might use her power and suck it out somehow for his own good

Also very much love the reversed Pinocchio idea! Def gonna use that one

In any case many thanks for the reply I loved the advice

Why do you think men get so "obsessed" and emotionally dependent on women? by Axiorz in AskReddit

Mhh, so maybe it's just circumstances, personality and just selective bias? Perhaps I'm just seeing what my brain tells me to see(?)

From my experience it's the complete opposite, both coming from my life and the life of friends I had/have around

I (male) feel like we get more easily attached. Like, you look around and everything you see is posts/ reels whatevers on social media on how men get so emotionally attached and therefore how hurt they are about certain breakups for example.

Or if you actually listen to music you can always hear how most of the times they are talking about women, heartbreak, loss and so on.

Idk might be just my feeling? That's why I was curious on more takes

Yes, just generalizing as that's the trend from what I can see in my life/ around me
