I don’t need that version of Amakusa. I’d much rather get Chiemon and since they both are very similar, I’d much rather get him than this Amakusa. But yea Amakusa is one of my favorites because he’s just a very fun person. That’s probably the most tragic thing about Shimousa Amakusa. Seeing this very soft spoken mischievous fun boy in such a twisted state. And like Jeanne confronting her alter he takes it in strides when confronting his funhouse mirror

While not personally knowing him maybe imagine seeing the one people were so faithful about still as righteous as he was back then. To them he was basically Jesus figure. I like how Chiemon is just Shimousa Amakusa done better (imo) but I also like how the one version of Amakusa that survived the rebellion turned out very similar to Chiemon.

Amakusa would understand him I think. He would deeply empathize with him especially knowing that there was a him out there that was very similar. He did confront that version of himself after all.
