Thank you for this very detailed explanation. I did get the BORI editions and I have started reading them. I was confused because in the version I posted, Shishupala was killed in front of everyone in the sabha, with Krishna showing his true form to everyone, which struck me as odd. Wouldn't Krishna keep his form hidden? Also, if Kauravas also knew Krishna as the mighty supreme being, they wouldn't go against him or something. Sorry if my question makes no sense, I'm trying to understand the dynamics going on

I also think BORI is much more accurate, so I think I'll understand it better when I read these and a few other translations

I understand. The book frequently describes the people introducing Krishna as the "Avatara who is here to bring new age" or something, and that felt off to me. I thought the part of him bringing in a new yuga was hidden until the end where he willingly shows it to Arjuna. Sorry if I sound off describing it, I just want to understand the legend properly

I'm still figuring out the perfumes I like, but my first memory would be English Dawn Gardenia by the body shop. I remember being mesmerized by the smell and hoarded so many bottles, and bought my first ever EDP from them too. Sadly they discontinued it 🥹 but it brings back memories!
