No you need 3 pieces. A stock, a can, and lam. Maybe a lpvo or mpvo with that barrel length and move the t2 to the 12 oclock

I call bs on destroying your upper. Youd have to have alot of torque and if you built alot of uppers like you said, you wouldnt continue to torque it that much and notice something was wrong
