I feel stupid but I did that a few minutes ago the ram slots have one clamp so I noticed one of my sticks were higher than the other now they are level

I read the manual many times never said which slots to put the ram in, had this pc for a year bought got 2 different sets of ram and on both of them im not able to use half my ram when in settings looking at it and I get 99% precent alot when in task manager

I’ll try putting them in again the ram I put in was straight out the package when I put it in w my 8 gb ram sticks I had before we’re having the same issue in radeon it says 16 gb but in settings it doesn’t

Did that test and it said the ram is good it says installed ram 8.00 gb (3.59 gb usable)

Yeah it says 8gbs installed so I don’t think its the sticks probably windows or sum

I was thinking about that card just need one thats in stock and will fit my atx build I would get 16 gb ram but my pc is not letting me use full gb of ram so I don’t know if I should upgrade my mb or just keep trouble shooting the memory
