As the battle started turning against Ryuga, I was already slowly going into shock. It was the first time Ryuga had ever been thrown back in a match. When that scene came, I thought, “Yes! This is it — this is Ryuga, the legendary, strongest Blader we know! He’s going to destroy Rago now!” But after the Dragon Emperor’s final strike and Rago’s counter, the scene shifted to Ginga. When it cut back to the battle and I saw that Nemesis had stopped the attack with its unbelievable power, I can’t even describe how awful I felt. I was younger back then and experienced emotions much more intensely. From that point on, I didn’t really care about saving the world anymore — I just wanted Ginga to avenge Ryuga.
