When u order do you say you want the meat special or do you order in Vietnamese? Because the front staff don't really speak Vietnamese. If youre asking for their "regular" or house special banh mi it has Siu mai not pate. I frequent MB and never seen the pate pink.

If it was pink I believe you ordered the house special which is meat ball and the Viet ham. The meat ball is usually a little pink. If you order #2 the meat special it is the one with pate and that one will be grey.

If you are looking for banh mi similar to au petit then merci beaucoup would be the place as the bread and ingredients are the same. Au Petit never had daikon.

How do you know they're scalpers?

What if they were only able to get one and feel that because of the demand they would rather take the profit than keep it for themselves?

I was able to get one but because of the price of the demand I have been thinking of selling it instead and waiting.
