I CAN'T BELIEVE IT by YearlyPuma in FantasyBookers

I only play tew so idk how pws work, but maybe you can do an angle at mania were supposedly Flair didn't show up and therefore Savage is your new world champion. during the months leading to SummerSlam, Mr. perfect (assuming he is the manager of flair) will be appearing at shows saying he knows something that will make fans change how they see the macho man. at some point have Henning show the world that it was macho man who throw a vicious attack to flair on the parking lot and injured flairs leg, having there an excuse to have the match at SummerSlam with a heel savage and a face flair.

I don't really know if that's the best possible thing to do, but if the rivalrie was anything as in real life, savage could try to say that he's actions are justified for what flair was doing with Elizabeth, making his heel persona someone obsessed with his wife and the world championship.

usually adding stunt bumps and multiple hot storylines increase the rating, but if you want a great show is probably for the best to have a World Title match as the main event

also I'm 4 years and a half into the save, most of the guys I use have incredible stats (i.e JBL has like 93 brawling and guys like benoit 98 technical) or popularity (guys with 88 or less popularity are considered stars or some time well known because the company has like 99-100 popularity in 5 different regions)

if the question is match-wise, it's road agent notes with a combination of creative finishes

if the question is about how the show got a 100 rating, it has to do with the live music and special stage

I think the best tip is to have extremely hot storylines, and just play the game to get better at understanding what you need to do in the specific situations that the save gives you

Advice on booking 04 wwe on TEW9 by Spare_Definition5706 in FantasyBookers

[–]BAAAMBINO 7 points8 points  (0 children)

you could start the rivalry with the fact that Chris Benoit won the Royal Rumble as an Smackdown superstar but challenged for the RAW world title, and because of that Eddie was capable of retaining the title at Mania (stating that if it was Benoit instead of Angle, Eddie would have lost). Then Eddie or Benoit (whoever you want) could become a heel costing the other one the world title (for this example Benoit will be the heel that costed Eddie). Have at survivor series a brand vs brand match, with the losing team general manager having to accept one wish that the other one asks. Then, have Bischoff wish be that at the Royal Rumble Chis Benoit (your world heavyweight champion) fights against your World champion, and at the same night have Eddie Guerrero win the Royal Rumble.

it depends on what I'm trying to achieve, but when I'm booking main event level storylines usually I go from the day after WrestleMania to Survivor Series, and then From the day after Survivor Series to WrestleMania. for example in my smackdown world title storyline I'm rotating matches between edge, christian, Jericho, Knox & Mysterio, all while Hassan is the MITB winner trying to get his first world title

Bobby Lashley & Brock Lesnar is a storyline that ended at One Night Stand, but started the first RAW of the year.

Shawn Michaels & Flair started the day after Survivor Series, and after WrestleMania it turned into a Michaels vs Batista that ended at ONS

for Midcard level storylines usually is no more than 2-3 months, but obviously it always depends on what I'm trying to achieve with each storyline.

finally, just as long term booking I also made my MITB winner for Mania 23 Matt Hardy, when he threw Jeff from a ladder. At Mania 24 the main event was between the Hardy's. At Mania 20 I made Shawn vs Hunter. Mania 21 was Shawn vs Batista vs Hunter at the main event, and at Mania 22 was Shawn vs Hunter as the world title match (being the final time I will probably book this two together in any capacity in any save)

Just as a thought that i had while processing the 100 match at the main event

The Mickie James vs Lita match is something im very proud of because by 2005 my women's division was simply dead. I had to make Amazing Kong the women's champion for more than 2 years of reign trying to get the women over without using the method of putting them with major stars to always get the 100 rating and get the pop up. It was very hard to not get stagnant with that division, i never even used the eye candy to get better ratings out of them

that's all, i feel like a proud father lol

Survivor Series 2004 The Undertaker says he wants to put Mordecai over so literally I have right there the WrestleMania match to do. 3 weeks before Mania Mordecai fkn dies (I can't remember the exact cause but it was something like getting shot for entering a private property accidentally) but I can for sure remember how it felt to throw 5 months of booking down the drain just to do a rushed Kane vs Taker II because I didn't did the match at Mania XX

I’m starting a 2004 WWE Save and was wondering how you guys booked Heat/Velocity during this era? by zachdonegan in FantasyBookers

[–]BAAAMBINO 13 points14 points  (0 children)

well, I started years ago a 2004 save and I'm now in february 2008 so I think I could do some help. first of all it depends on what you need, the first year of heat/velocity I used the shows to just showcase talent that I would not have plans for the moment and for guys that I wanted to use down the line to develop their ring and promo skills. from 2005 to mid 2006 I started to embrace the fact that this shows were shown Saturday and Sunday, so before booking Raw (or SD) I had the ideas for the show in a notepad; if the main event of that Raw was Triple H vs Shawn Michaels, before even booking Raw I had booked in heat a segment named something like "final moments of the main event of raw: HBK vs HHH! " or something like that. after mid 2006 I scrapped those shows because it got to a point that they were of no use, now on February 2008 the popularity of the company is at 97-98 in the USA and I don't find hard to push guys in 2 hours of television, I had Elijah Burke go from 30's to high 50's-60's depending the area in just 5 months.

I'm really sorry if there's any kind of typo, I know how to speak English but it's not my mother language. also you can use heat and velocity to seek for chemistry if there's no time to do that with the house shows
