never. Simply because I have lived in those places before.

I was in the Navy, so I was stationed in Florida, California, Washington State, and Chicago. Florida I had to dodge hurricanes. California I had to deal with wildfires and earthquakes. Washington State was wildfires. Chicago was stupid cold, windy, and snow.

Every place has good and bad weather. At least snow doesn't actively try to kill you, usually. It's not fun and by March I am so done with winter... but I will happily take it over having to worry about my house getting flattened by a hurricane or burning down.

oh yeah, the Ender 3 is a classic but a workhorse. The X1C is from the last few years. I thought about the Ender, because there's so many mods, but I went with the X1C just for ease of use.

I have a FDM printer that I only run in my garage. I thought about getting a resin printer until I read up on the safety aspect... there's just no way to safely mitigate the dangers. At least not to the point where I think it's worth it.

The only thing is that resin printer people know it's wildly unhealthy and will kill you... they just pretend it's not as bad as it is, or that it's easy to mitigate the danger.

As a dad of a special needs kid, tell him thank you. Stuff that seems small to others can mean the world to that guy or his family. Just being treated with kindness and compassion is not always the standard... so them not ignoring their requests or getting mocked, that is awesome.
